This document presents a student's project in the form of an A3 poster and a 200-word abstract, focusing on Human Resource Management (HRM) within a healthcare context. The poster critically analyzes an HRM issue, such as managing conflict between staff or introducing a new working practice, supported by peer-reviewed literature. It addresses the origins of the issue, contributing factors (political, fiscal, social, etc.), and required leadership/management actions. The abstract summarizes the poster's key arguments, likely discussing factors affecting employee resistance, the importance of quality care, and the role of leaders in aligning employees with organizational goals. References to relevant leadership theories and studies are included, providing evidence-based recommendations for practice, education, research, and/or policy within the healthcare setting. The project aims to demonstrate an understanding of leadership and management concepts for health professionals, particularly in addressing HRM challenges.
