The health care industry have many concern floating around. With emerging patient
expectation with the health care industry, the industry is facing a lot more problems towards
the services of the patients while keeping in mind about the jobs satisfaction of the staffs. The
following paragraph will explain about the key ethical concern that is affecting the health
care industry, a key advancement in the research or technology of healthcare industry. The
article also comprises about an example of an evolution and development of patient care and
organisation in a changing regulatory and economic health care environment. In the end, the
article established individual and collective effect on the health care industry (Kvedar, Coye,
& Everett, 2014).
The main ethical concern of the emerging healthcare industry is in the balancing of
the care quality and efficiency. The main problem in the health care industry is to provide a
quality care tot the patient with efficiency. It is often a problem for a caregiver to provide
same care to the entire Patient efficiently. Sometime they fail to provide efficient care.
Howeve5r when they provide the efficient care they fail to provide the care quality, the
ethical norms of the industry suggest that you have to provide the entire patient with effective
quality care and efficiency all together.
The biggest technological advancement happened in the healthcare industry is the
using of health record (EHR). The data suggested that the in 2009 only sixteen percent of the
US healthcare industry used HER but the number increased by eighty per cent by 2013.
Previously all the patient data was recorded manually by using pen and paper but the
technology changes and allowed the industry to use electronic help thus reducing staff effort
and also made the work efficient (Longenecker & Longenecker, 2014).
With increasing costing of the care industry the patient often, look for any efficient
and more convenient options. In recent days, the patient suffer a lot of cost for the health care

services they obtain. However, the emerging cost affectivity of the hospital industry do not
allow them to cut down the high costs that the patients are paying. They mainly opt for the
traditional ways to treat the problems (Anthony, Appari & Johnson, 2014).
The primary Min target of the health care industry is to provide all the health care
facility available for all the public in general. In addition it is also a regulatory target of the
health care industry to avail the facility all around the clock for the patients. In order to
maintain the quality of the services provided by the health care industry and also to maintain
the efficiency of the services the industry uses tactics and man power with mote strategic
understanding (Akinci & Patel, 2014).
All the five point that are mentioned above directly and indirectly affects the patient
and sometime the health care industry itself. Maintaining the efficiency and the quality all
together is becoming more and more tough job for the health care industry. To maintain the
efficiency and quality all together the hospitals are taking help of the technical advancement
and labor. All this effects the health care industry, the patient all together, and they are all
linked together (Marcus et al., 2015).
The conclusion can be drawn that the emerging ethical issuer of the health care
industry is to provide the quality service and the efficiency all together and the hospitals are
taking the help of medical advancement to tackle this situation. Taking help of a medical
advancement technology helps them to, avail the service efficient and available for the people
all the time and for 24/7 service.
