expenses of the organization. The expenses that occur from the enrolment and payment of the
staff should be evaluated for effective planning.
Benchmarking is an important strategy for reducing the expenses of the organization
(Bryson, 2018, p. 52). St. John Healthcare organization is in the fourth position in terms of
performance and provision of quality services to the communities, therefore, benchmarking
on the leading organizations is important in identifying effective strategies for increasing
income and reducing expenses. The person-centered services provided to the consumers also
contributed to the increase in the expenses. The community-based services should be
analyzed to identify the areas of weaknesses that might have resulted in the higher expenses.
The main consideration of the Chief Executive should be reduction in the expenses and
establish policies to assist in increasing the outcomes of the healthcare system.
