centered care. The objective of the study is to understand the job description by considering the
QSEN competencies of nurses. The information collection is done by adopting the secondary
method that is by taking the opinions of the different authors so that accurate information is
gathered according to the subject matter (Chenot & Christopher, 2019). From the analysis, it is
finding that floor nurses are responsible for doing the basic care of the patients that nurse adopt
the competency of informatics in which nurse inform about the condition of the patient and
maintain collaboration through providing emotional support by making interaction with the
patient as well as nurses also responsible of updating the record of the patients.

the QSEN competencies. The main aim of the study is to evaluate the present job position of the
floor nurses so that they make entrance in RN as well as QSEN competencies. The information

respondents who all gets involved in developing the job description of floor nurse. The

find the changes in the job description made by the CPE project so that individual include QSEN
competencies and utilize these skills and manage efficiency in the hospital. The findings of the
study find describes that presently CPE project also changes the roles and responsibilities of
floor nurses such as now floor nurses ensure to maintain operations of all the equipments and
technology so that new equipments and machinery will be maintained in preventive manner
(Vitale, Germini, Massaro, & Fortunato, 2019). The other role which nurse perform is
maintaining the technical knowledge so that educational workshop and professional services will

roles of the nurses is that now they have to investigate the strategies and policies which should
be used for enhancing the nursing practices as well as to get the efficient outcomes related to
healthcare this helps in increasing the quality in the hospital and help the nurses to provide
treatment in specialize manner and by using efficient equipments and machinery (Supri,
