Introduction
The nursing home is responsible for offering high extensive care and support to the
patient who cannot go outside the hospital and hence are offered with efficient custodial care
that includes bathing, eating and getting dressed (Sanford et al., 2015). This interview
transcript will include the Human Resource (HR) Personnel from the nursing home located in
United States named as USA Healthcare-Alabama, LLC that will focuses to provide care and
comfort to the families with the help of nurses, administration and skilled therapist.
Question: Whether the nursing home is privately or publicly owned?
Answer: The USA Healthcare-Alabama, LLC is one of the most demanding nursing homes
in United States that focuses on understanding the issue of the family and therefore aim to
solve the issue and make their life much easier and happy. This nursing home offers a
planned nursing care or treatment that is based on patient’s specific abilities and needs and
thus aim to provide them with an enhanced standard of care and support (USA Healthcare,
2019). I am proud to say that the nursing home is accredited and certified by Medicaid or
Medicare community that provide highly skilled nursing service and therapy to the elder
patient suffering from either long-term health complication or chronic health condition. The
nursing home have a highly skilled and trained nursing professionals who develop a healthy
and therapeutic environment for the elder patients by maintaining their dignity and treating
them with respect (Khandelwal et al., 2017).

Question: How the facility differs in the quality of care from either privately or publicly
owned?
Answer: This is a publicly owned nursing home that provide effective care to the patient, the
registered nurse completely understand the need and requirements of the patients and ensure
that the clinical decision taken by them is guiding with the patient’s belief and culture. The
nurses also provide effective care to the patient that is patient-centred and increase the
likelihood of patient outcome. The quality of care provided that is provide by this nursing
home is much better as compared to the privately owned healthcare organization because
nursing home focuses on understanding the need and requirements of the patient and after
understanding their specific need they tend to adapt and generate a treatment plan that will
help the patient in improving their health condition (Montagu & Goodman, 2016). Also note
that privately owned healthcare organization show lack in dedication and only focus on
making money from the patient by extending their stay in the hospital. Nursing home
practices different methods of treatment care and clinical practice that help the registered
nurse to enhance the quality of care and support to the patient. The nursing care offered by
our facilities are based on each individual patient and their specific needs and after evaluating
their needs they conduct the treatment plan and the type of treatment that will be given to the
patients (Shippee et al., 2017).
Question: Who are the typical residents or patients and what are their needs?
Answer: The average age of the people who visit or at admitted to this nursing homes are the
elderly people who are more than 65 years of age and older and require extensive care that
will assist them in overcoming from their bad health condition. The residents are the people
who are admitted to the nursing home and they require an immediate care as they cannot
leave the hospital and go out. As the people grow in age their need also changes as compared

to the young people because they require close attention and care and since they are old and
have reduced physical mobility. The residents might suffer from various types of disease or
illness and therefore each residents will have different needs based on their health illness
(Tanuseputro et al., 2017).
Question: What are the services provided by the nursing home?
Answer: The USA Healthcare-Alabama, LLC consider the need and requirements of the
individual residents who are admitted in the nursing home and the type of illness they are
suffering from and based on their health condition a separate treatment and care plan is
generated that incorporate the services to individual residents. The trained and skilled
therapist and registered nurse are always present and assigned to each resident that will assist
them in improving their health condition (USA Healthcare, 2019). This nursing home offers
different types of rehabilitation programs, which focus on providing extensive care to the
residents. There are different types of therapy that is offered such as physical therapy, speech
therapy, occupational therapy and memory care, which will aim to treat the health condition
of the resident and offer best care and support. The types of services provided by our nursing
home completely depend on the illness or health condition of each individual residents. The
age of the resident also matters and how they react to the treatment approach, hence, it is very
crucial that the registered nurse pay a close attention to each individual and their need or
requirement (USA Healthcare, 2019).
Question: What are the Future Goals of the organization?
Answer: The future goal of The USA Healthcare-Alabama, LLC is to provide extensive care
and support to the residents who are admitted to the nursing home and understand their issue
faced by them or their families and therefore aim to make their life easier and happy. We aim
to generate a therapeutic environment that will offer a planned nursing and clinical care to

each residents and help them to meet the necessary requirements to achieve an enhanced
quality of life. Building a therapeutic relationship is the priority of our nursing home with the
residents and help the resident to enhance their knowledge on the treatment they will receive
and their health condition. Therefore, it is evident that the ultimate goal of this nursing home
is to pay attention, deliver treatment and improve lives of one resident in a specific time
(USA Healthcare, 2019).
Question: What are the financial obligations from the patients or residents?
Answer: In order to take the benefit form the nursing home and get admitted to the nursing
home, the residents have to pay a sum of money based on their health condition and type of
treatment. Also depending on the rooms of the resident they are admitted to and the services
they require, the nursing home has different set of cost that they have to pay. If a resident is
unable to pay the required amount of money they can seek government assistance or
insurance and the insurance company will pay the cost of their nursing home (Paul et al.,
2016).
Question: What are the challenges faced by the facility?
Answer: There are various challenges that is faced by our organization including private
impartiality as the healthcare demand is increasing and accelerating, the tax reform on the
healthcare facilities that the patient has to pay is the major challenges, the lack in large
number of highly skilled healthcare worker or professionals and the advancement of digital
therapeutics that large number of residents fail to understand as they are old and are not
aware of the recent advancement. Hence, our nursing home is acquiring strategies that will
help us to overcome from every possible challenges and enhance the overall care and support
to the residents (Koplow et al., 2015).

Conclusion
Nursing home is responsible for offering care and support to the elder patients who
cannot visit out of the hospital and the registered nurse are responsible for offering highly
skilled care to the patient present in the nursing home that comprise of medical treatments
and monitoring. Interview from the HR personnel of the organization was done and
completed to better understand the benefit and advantages of nursing homes.
