In health and social care sector referral to other agencies can be done when a person want
to do something good or beneficial for children. In referral child are send to some other agencies
where they are getting cared by monitoring, therapy or mediation. There are numbers of situation
or circumstances at which there is need to refer a child in the other agencies so that he/ she will
get proper treatment of their medical issues. These issues can be metal or physical and for
different type of problems there are different types of referral agencies are available where
children can be treated according to requirement (Hackett and et. al., 2013). Such as if a child is
not able to speak things properly due to which their family, relatives and friends are facing
difficulties then in this case they can referral their child to other agencies so that he/ she will get
proper treatment. In this child will get treatment through speaking therapy, classes, sessions and
medicines so that they get recover from speaking issues.
At UAE there are numbers of agencies at which a person can referral a child if they are
facing speaking issue such as NMC Medical Centre, Deira; NMC Specialty Medical Care, Rolla;
Thrive wellbeing Centre and many more. These agencies provide all type of facilities and
services which help a person in getting recover from their issues in proper time. Another
circumstance which leads to referral to other agencies is when a child start taking drugs by
seeing their family as well as relatives, in this situation child not able to leave drugs because
he/she is learning from his/ her family members. Then in this situation respective child can be
referral to another agency where they will get proper or specific treatment accordingly so that he/
she will get cessation from smoking. There are various smoking cessation clinic at almost every
nation and these clinics are owned privately, by Ngo’s or by nation or state government.

recovery in proper time. These are some of the major circumstance at which referral to another
agency is required so that affected or sick person get proper as well as effective treatment which
recover them in timely and effectively. These types of agencies also conduct proper recording of
recovery of a person so that they can plan things or facilities or services accordingly. Moreover it
will also help them in developing strategies and treatment plan in respect of patient condition.
