INTRODUCTION
Health care professionals are the key part of health care systems and provisions, the
qualified physician with the proper education, training, license, regulation are consider as the
health care professionals (Albers, and et. al., 2020). They perform professional services within
their own scope and speciality of health care and services. In context to the continuous growth
and development of the evidence based practices and experiences, that is important for the health
care professional to to use and implement the CPD plan in their professional development
strategies. Because this helps the social and health care professionals effectively meet their job
role by assuring the safety, effectiveness , this also helps in the development of new skills and
knowledge, which further aid to maintain improvement and effective care across the all area of
practices. In this report Personal development plan is design, as this is the important plat of the
CPD which helps in the further reflective analysis and identification of the strengths and career
goals. Critical reflective analysis is done based on career ambitions.

My career goal is to become one of the most effective social and health care professional in the
specific filed of the occupational theory as therapist. Through which I can serve effective care
to peoples under health and social care provision. This is my specific career goal under which
my responsibilities will be care of the disable patient and helping them to accomplish various
activities which they can not do individually. My academic activities and projects along with
the studies are associated with the achievement of my career goal. Because their I am greeting
the specific training for the occupational theory , there are the various opportunities of the
occupational theorist courses and projects which helps to develop my learning and experiences

related to that career objective. University is supporting in the achievement of this goal by the
application of goal setting theory, because this helps in the selection, accomplishment
appropriate career goals according to the skills and performance . This helped me to chose this
right goal and motivate to achieve the outcomes, such as engagement in the practical behaviours
that contribute to future employability.
Identification and explanation of three strengths
In context to my career goal I am having some important eligibility and strength, such as the
key skills of the occupational therapist is determination, patience, enthusiasm, interpersonal
and communication skills, effective teamwork. Some of theses skills are my strengths, given
below.
Strengths
Interpersonal , communication skills- I am good at the interpersonal and communication
skills. This is the skills through individual can make the effective communication with
patient, with the application of active listening, effective verbal communication, body
language, openness and negotiation. This is one of the most important skills in context
to the every health and social care professionals, because this helps to provide effective
care to the patient along with higher satisfaction. I identified this strength in me by the
evaluation of my performance in group conversation and decision and I fund that people
get interaction with me and understand my prospective effectively. I achieved this by
the support of university group assessments and programs.
Effective teamwork- Within my university study task and projects I got various
opportunities of the group performance and teamwork, from where I improved my
teamwork skills. Such as in the team projects of patient care and management I fund
that my teamwork performance is improving and I am the good leader at team, who
manage each task and activities effectively. This loveliness the effective
communications, collaboration and time management. In context to my career goal this
is another important strength which will help me in the achievement of success.
Because in context to the disable patient care at occupational setting effective team work
is require to manage different needs and care services of patient.

Identification and explanation of three weakness
Weakness
Lack of the knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis- I have
identified that I am not having the enough knowledge of the different principles and
aspects of diagnosis which is very important in the my career goal of health and social
care professional. Each and every health care professional need to posses the appropriate
knowledge of the diagnosis principles and method's, as this play key role in the effective

Ineffective problem solving skills- I have identified that I am not good in the problem
solving skills, because at university in the situation of conflict and risk management
project I was not able to make right solution. Problem solving is the skills which
involves the application of effective analytical and catenative thinking to make the new
idea or solution. Within health and social care, different problems arise on Daly basis in
context to which that is very important skills and I have to improve my problem skill
achieve success in this career goal.
Lack of the patience- I haven noticed that at the situation of complicated case and lack
of the time I became stressed and so panic. Which is not good for the health care
professionals, we have to be good in patience to achieve my career goal. Because this is
important in the health and social care professional to manage every thins with patience.

Critical reflective analysis of learning and development
Gibbs’ reflective cycle- This model was developed by the Graham Gibbs in 1988, which
provide the effective structure to the learning from experiences. This helps to critically review
the experiences and examine that for effective learning and planing from this, which went well
and bad. This model of reflective analysis is involving 6 stage given below in prospective of my
social and health career experiences and development (Monstadt, and Schramm, 2017).
Description- Continuous professional development is one of the most important class
room learning and health care professional development unit, which involves the different
activities and task of the career related learning and development. Such as this is involving the,
projects, problem solving research, technical learning etc. I was engaged in the CPD activity,
like in the specific project related to the health and social care, that was the group task. Under
which we were assigned to make the research on principles of diagnosis and health, social care.
This project was assigned to me and my group within university. I did great work in that project
with help of effective team work and other essential professionals skills. Other members of the
team and me worked effectively for the task accomplishment by the distribution of task and
activities within team. My responsibility was to make critical research on principles of the
diagnosis and other team member was engage in the study and report development related to the
other important princesses of health and social care. Within the compliment of that project we
learn and developed various important aspect of health and social care along with the
development of health care professionals skills. I was there engaged in that task due to my goal
for the development of my knowledge regarding diagnosis principles and improvement of my
professional skills, which was achieved with some good and bad expiries.

Feelings- As I was engaged in the project due to my own goals and objectives of health
and social care professional skills and knowledge development. I was feeling grate full to have
that opportunity. For effective learning and health care professionals experience development.
Within that specific class room activity I faced different situation, which are now added to my
experience increasing the value of my knowledge and eligibility. One of the most impacting and
important situation of that project experience was group activity in which we were performing
the critical review of the online secondary resources, where we got success due to the effective
team work and communication skills. Know I an feeling that my commination skills are more
better at present and improved due to the positive effects of that project. I feel the my critical
analysis and problem solving are improved, experience of that project is adding more knowledge
in my performance report and now I an having information and Knowles several principles of
health and social care. From that project I learn the importance of patience and how to manage
this within health and social care practices. About my group performance I feel that distribution
of the project as l was the effective move, which result in the accomplishment of project with in
right time.
Evaluation- Within the project “principles of diagnosis and health, social care” there
was the different situation which we faced in terms of good and bad. Such as we were engaged in
the project task like research, study, information collection, report writing and presentation.
Under which things went good but in come place, I faced the difficulty due to the lack of
problems solving skills, but with in application of effective communication and team work skills.
That situation was managed, I also developed my problem solving skill support of team members
and effective learning. Task distribution was also the good approach, by aid of which collection
of the right information regarding related to the project time is done. Learning of that collected
information helped me to achieve my goal for development of knowledge regarding health and
social care principles. Report writing and presentation went good and also helped me to improve
my writing and presentation skills, which is important skill for each and every health care
professional. Team assumption regarding report writing format was wrong but improved within
the right time through effective research.

Analysis- research is very important and complicated task in which each and every
health and social professional have to be good and effective. This is involving the application of
different skills to achieve success in the research project. Such as learning, reading, critical
analysis and problem solving skills. And due to that reason in the research task I faced the issues,
because problems solving is the important skills of the research and this is my weakness too. For
the development of problems solving skills individual have to take more responsibility and go
through with the situation or experience of problems solving, hence I have developed my
problem solving skill from this experience. Task distribution is the important skills or activity of
the effective team work and due to this strength or approach, project is successful accomplish
with the collection of relevant information. This is very clear that performance make things
better and improve skills, my communication skills was my strength and according to the
academic literature communication skills is the sets of abilities like, writing, presentation, verbal
communication etc. so due to this strength I got success in the effective report writing and
presentation along with my team. For the research report development that is important to use
well organised structure and if not having the knowledge about that then this is important to
make research for that. Which we did not use in starting of the project but get aware about that
with in the right and then improved the report.
Conclusion- From the above reflective analysis of my class room CPD activity which
was the research project on principles of diagnosis and health, social care. I learned that effective
team work and skills are very important in context to the accomplishment of health and social
care projects and task. I learned that in health and social care activities that is important to work
according to the principles and communication, problem solving, team work are essential skills.
Along with this professional have to be patience. Its analysed that changes to the my problems
solving skills, research strategies will help to give more effective performance in future. Pre
analysis and study of the project criteria will we effective approach to perform good in the future.
Analysis of the individual strengths and weakness will be the good approach to make effective
task distribution.
Action plan- In next project and assignment I will make sure that before the starting of
project we will make sure that strengths and weakness of the every team member should be clear.

reflection. Which helps to identify career related strengths and weakness and seating of the goals
for improvement and more effective learning or experiences. Gibes model is one of the most
effective and applicable model of reflection in context to the health care professionals, which
involving the different stages of reflection, such as description, feelings, evaluation, analysis,
conclusion, action plan.
