Lean Six sigma programs discussion
In my discussion, I will focus on how the Juran Institute offers online programs. Based
on the posts on their website, I think their online programs are the best for acquiring knowledge
on lean six sigma programs. Their online programs are designed for everyone as discussed by
Dr. Joseph Juran. The programs applicable for both the candidate who wants to get basic skills
on lean stigma and masters of the institute philosophy (Best & Neuhauser, 2016). The main
programs emphasized here are green belt and black belt programs. I think these programs are
improved through the mentorship programs. These programs enable the completion of the
projects within the organization. I think their programs are so flexible, cost-effective and
collaborative for the achievement of the Institute goals. According to the program, the green belt
is categorized into two types. The first type is a green belt program with stats and the second
type is the green belt program without stats. The green belt program without stats involves the
completion of the small programs within the healthcare services. The green belt program with
stats involved completion of the small projects or participation as a team for the purpose of
manufacturing professional data analytics. In the case of the black belt program, it involved the
completion of the large or many functional programs as a leader or coach (Godfrey & Kenett,
2017). In this case, the programmer should have completed training in green belt lean stigma
programs. This has drawn my attention to what is happening in my current organization of work.
The management team has introduced a new method of learning new skills and techniques for
improvement of our performance. They are currently outsourcing the expertise from other
service provider organizations to train us on various matters. I have seen a lot of positive impacts
as we have gained a lot of skills regarding how the organization should be run for better
performance.
