PROJECT TWO
As a human resource manager, my first goal would be to increase the number of workers and
firing the ineffective workers in the facility through the management (Moumtzoglou, 2019). This
would ensure maximum productivity. I would achieve this goal by working together with the
management and conducting an interview and initiating the new employees for the job. For the
already working employees, I would introduce the performance records for all of them, putting
into consideration the different departments in the facility. This would help keep the already
employed workers on toes ensuring they work efficiently (Human Resource Management: Text
and Cases, 2013). This goal would take close to one year for full implementation, and results

would be expected a year later. Full support from the management is needed to achieve this goal.
I would evaluate my progress by checking on the quality of service offered by the employees
after the changes and also by the satisfaction of the patients using our facility (Rasinski & Smith,
2014)
My second goal would be organizing seminars and conferences for the employees to attend.
This would help with the education and training part of the employees since a trained workforce
results in better performance and also better delivery of services to the patients (Rasinski &
Smith, 2014). The conferences and seminars would improve their skills in their various fields of
service. Here, I would also work hand in hand with the management of the facility since funds
are important to the success of the goal (Kumar, 2019). Time would also be needed since
employees need time to understand the skills they learnt and apply them practically. This would
improve on the knowledge the employees previously had, and therefore production would
increase. I would evaluate the progress of this goal by identifying what the employees learnt and
counterchecking the area they learnt with the level of improvement (Cummins, Bernard, &
Crawley, 2015). This goal, unlike the first one, needs lesser time since it only needs a duration of
about half a year.
