market place. Optimum health care perform all the research on behalf of the customers and find
the most productive medical service provider in order to enhance the health condition of the
respective patients or customers. As mentioned above, the enterprise is running in the sector of
health and social care and attracts customers from all over the world. Moreover, optimum health
care is an enrollment programmer where demands and wants of patients or needful users are
fulfilled in a fruitful manner.
Assessment of project management tools:
Managing the activities of different project under health and social care sector is as important as
that of retail sector projects due to involvement of health and mental condition of the customers
and lack of attention might become life threaten issues for the same (A guide to the project

project management activities enable the enterprise to fulfill the loopholes present under

services and instead display normal information or data which does not create curiosity or

planning to design the sequence, stating the milestone and completing the network diagram it
certainly makes it feasible for the enterprise to gain financial benefits in the market place.

stakeholders associated with the construction of optimum health care which further empower the
enterprise with more financial and non-financial power. On the other hand, project management

The implementation of all the activities or operations would take around 24 weeks to complete
further which the performance and position of the enterprise might enhance or increase. Further,

necessity of innovative project management techniques such as PERT and Gantt chart to provide
financial and non-financial benefits to the enterprise through significant planning and innovative
monitoring of the activities and operations of the enterprise. The study highlights the poor
performance of optimum health care in the market place with unproductive advertising platform,
lack of relevant milestone and misdirection while implementing activities or operations (Lock,
2015).
Moreover, PERT and Gantt identifies all the respective loopholes of the enterprise and provide
guidelines to turn the entire situation and overcome the respective challenges or problems. Thus,

Assessment of development towards different skills areas:
Assessment of personal traits or individual skills is always necessary to find the key areas of
one’s personality. Being a management student, therefore, entails me to discover what are the
points that I am good at and where am I lacking. In the course of the training program, I have
been enabled to find the answers to these questions which have been laid out in the followings
(Practice standard for project risk management, 2011).
Communication:
From the very beginning, approaching others has been a tough job for me. The reason being the
reserved personality, I have always found it difficult to start a conversation with others.
However, I have also observed that when I am around with the people having typically same
mentality as mine, the shyness gradually disappears. In addition to this, being descriptive in
nature and the inquisitiveness to conduct in-depth researches of elements, I take much time and
hence the time management also becomes despair. This only notches up my inability to
communicate with others (Practice standard for project risk management, 2011).
Numeracy:
This skill has always given me praises. The numbers fascinate me all the time and I have always
tried to understand the basic mathematical elements to any problems. Therefore, the tasks
became easy for me. Another key trait of me understands the concept behind every formula.
Mugging up formula without knowing the fundamentals or the reasons behind their existence has
not been on the list of my preference. As I have stated above that analyzing and understanding
the basics has always attracted me, numbers have been an attraction for me (Reiss, 2013).
Information or Communication technology:
The rapid pace in doing business in today’s world has only been possible for the gratitude of
information technology. The information technology has not only served for the betterment of
businesses but has also enhanced towards improvement of communication. However, in order to
have good grasp on the features of information technology, one has to know the functionality of

computer programs and it is much important in these days (Reiss, 2013). Nevertheless, as far as
my skills in computer operations are concerned, it can be said that they are quite well and not
having a particular degree has not suppressed me to from handling the operations smoothly.
Problem Solving:
Problem solving is a key element of a manager. Therefore, I have always tried to improve the
necessary skills required for the matters. Here it would be fair to say that having possession on
any particular skill for a person is the result of endurance and hardship. Therefore, I have always
tried to develop on my own the skills to improve my problem solving traits (Tonks, 2014). In
addition to this, the analytical approach towards the unknowns for me has helped to improve this
particular matter.
Working with others:
Working in a team demands better communication, therefore, it has been problematic for me.
However, I have always tried my best to communicate with others with logical approach and this
trait has helped me to be free and make colleagues in working place and friends in personal life.
In addition to this, as working for the betterment has always driven me, despite having poor
communication skills, I have managed to work with others (Tonks, 2014).
Assessment of actions plans to improve the performance:
The actions plans for improving the skills required for me to be a manager based on the above
analysis are being presented below:
The first thing I have learned that a good manager needs to have a good communication skill. It
is also a key employability of a person who aspires to be a manager. Therefore, I have planned to
communicate with people having different mindsets and hailing from other cultures more. This
way it would be possible for me to understand the mentalities of people and also the market. In
addition to this, it would also benefit my intention to explore the unknowns (Tulip, 2014). I will
be doing this by working with my teammates. While being in a team, as it requires a synergy
between the members, I will always be there to support my teammates in every possible way,
while coming up with new ideas, discussing their viability and also knowing my roles and the
support my teammates expect from me.

The most interesting part while working for Optimum Health Care has been seeing others day
and night to come up with the best possible idea. The coordination and the collaboration of the
team members have left me aghast. Their hard works have shown me that passion and endurance
is the key mantra for one’s success. However, not the most difficult rather the most ardent and
demanding situation was time management for me (Tulip, 2014). It entailed me to conduct
thorough analysis of the factors as well as being efficient. Therefore, it was a bit challenging for
me.
Therefore, I have come up with the following steps to improve my employability skills with a
SMART action plan.
To be specific, I have found that communication gap and ineffective time management is the
most problematic scenario of me. Therefore, I have thought to be extrovert and step forward to
start a chat with other people and know their problems in the most suitable manner for them
(Tulip, 2016). As per the theory of Belbin Team Roles, I find within myself, the traits of a
specialist and plant. Therefore, I lack in being a complete finisher. To be this, I need to overcome
the problems stated above. However, it is to say that the proposed action, to some extent may not
be measurable as it cannot be transformed into mathematical expressions. It is attainable if the
processes discussed are duly performed. Personal experiences and also advices have firmed that
the measures are attainable (Tulip, 2016). As it requires a change in my mentality, self control,
and proper judgment of the situations, it is possible. At last, it would be fair to say that, I have
planned to change all the backlogs of mine within a year. I will be engaged in more and more
courses and will stand on one foot to meet other people and have a chat with them without any
hesitation and setting aside any kind of pre-assumptions (Wren, 2007).
