INTRODUCTION
In today's world its hard to manage the quality of services provided to patients. It is a
matter of health and social care, it includes lot of efforts to provide quality services to patients
and make them satisfy with their services in right context. When virtually, analysing, assessing
service quality in health and care which presents various challenges both at the patients and
service provider end (Care Quality Commission, 2012). The report is based on the NHS which is
serving the society from last so many decades. Its a public health care services in England,
Scotland and Wales. It was found around 1948. The report will discuss about perspective
stakeholders and role of external agencies and what is the impact of poor service quality and
measuring the standards exist with different approaches and analysing potential barriers.
Evaluation of effectiveness of systems and analysing other factors and have to provide the
suggestion how quality can be improved. Evaluation of methods and impact of involving the
users of services.
TASK 1
P(1.1) Perspectives the stakeholders connected with health and social care services.
Stakeholders: In health and care services both the care givers and patients are
stakeholders . In this concept the stakeholders are counted as care quality commission(CQC),
patients and employers. Although the service provider provides the services and patients do pay
for such services and usually they are main users of facilities.
Stakeholders perspectives: The stakeholders perspectives quality has the main concern
and it relates to the health and cares services which is a complex multi-dimensionality that seeks
what has been attached to the quality. Generally every person has their own perspectives for the
service they are receiving whether they are patients or caregivers. Normally quality health and
care is not limited to service accessibility, behaviour and attitudes of members and do take care
of mode of communication should be correct and flexibility in accepting the change environment
and responsibility of acre givers too.
The stakeholders is also having the responsibilities to take care of the health and social
cares services too. Perspective stakeholders are those which has their perspectives for such health
care (Damron and Damron, 2013). Stakeholders do are main part of the NHS which helps in
getting perspectives in right manner. Such efforts do require the collaborative kind of working

with in the relation of services in health and care services. Having a combined approach in
services helps in getting the units of production and consumer within the care given ambiance of
environment.
P(1.2) Analysing the role of external agencies in setting standards.
Thus the external agencies are those which helps and monitor the health care facilities in
right manner. Generally they are those who acts as quality authorities, and pursuant of quality
care and mainly they protect the stakeholders interests in services (Naylor and et.al., 2012). The
external agencies do supervise the offering regularities which control the local. State and federal
authorities in correct way. Few external agencies and their roles in setting the standards:
MHRA: This is a government agency which ensure that the medicine and care devices
equipment should work in right manner and using of such things should be safe and professional
manner. As this is the executive agency, so it becomes the responsibility of the organisation to
improve the quality and safety in care.
CQC: Somewhere such kind of things are the independent regulator of health and care
institutions. This point ensure the facilities to care homes and hospitals which provide the
compassionate, safe, high quality services through they monitor the roles and improves the
quality wherever the pitfall are there.
Health care inspectorate: In this point they inspectorate monitors and inspects all
activities within the health care facilities. Somewhere this helps in making improvements in
health and care services with this patient makes pay in right way without any disappointments.
Health and social care services combine the expertise of different agencies which is
having a higher understanding of every aspect in social facilitation (Cherry and Jacob, 2016).
Thus the overall agencies have capacity to assist care facilities with the relevant information and
this is social capital which provides the shape in scope for care giving.
P(1.3) Assess the impact of poor quality on stakeholders.
Some of the significant aspects of such are that it can disrupt the funding, dampen the
spirit of caregivers and it can damage firm reputation or image and it can lead to inappropriate
planning decisions in the loss of quality. Poor quality of services leads in decline in patients for
services and this leads to loss of money by entity as patients will not spent their money in health
care services.

Thus underlying the quality issues makes to lead the poor impact at NHS which includes
the mismanagement of funds and poor reporting process with framework requirement. To
improve all such quality, it is required to focus on funds and improve the reporting process with
concern too and this will deal in rapidly and effectively. If quality improvement is made then it
will also help to manages the increasing demands across the facility programs wit tackling health
concerns. Having a quality improvements make the firm to restore confidence in concept of NHS
services. Thus impact monitoring is also required to improve the quality (Spilsbury and et.al.,
2011). Monitoring will helps in putting all effective and efficient requirement in way which will
lead to quality improvements and quality assessment which ensure the perspectives of patients
and caregivers in consideration, monitoring will promote service developments at NHS which
includes learning expertise somewhere with stakeholders in external agencies and with wider
community.
Task 2
P(2.1) Standards exist in health and social care for measuring quality.
Standards helps in getting the quality environment, there is few standards available those
are(CQC, NICE and code of practise) all these helps in force which ensure in quality guaranteed
to user safety. Quality is in terms of the functionality, assurance, control and management. All
such factors helps in making and transform health care aid to humanity. Thus the health care
services fundamentally counter the inefficiencies in service sector which guarantee quality
service delivery. The standards are also set in health care as to provide the access to social which
helps in getting full control over the lives of themselves (Yip and et.al., 2012). They do take care
that users should maximise the autonomy to gain new morale and improve self confidence in
recover their condition.
It is required to have a best approaches to improve the quality outcomes of their services
to patients. Health and social care facilities has to directly work with various health departments
and number of schemes which cut across sector to procure managing these environments better.
Thus it is something which has to be done by them to improve the quality of services and which
delivers at all cost. Thus it is a duty of making sure users that access to world class facilities that
may make the reward for money and they can spent with their capacity which provide
deliverable solutions and it helps in betterment of users conditions. So, quality assurance, control

and audit are the instrumental with countering the discrepancies within the modes of various
services.
P(2.2) Different approaches to implement quality system.
The different approaches in quality system are as follows:
Quality system: It makes the understanding of quality index through using the models of
measuring quality in care. Somewhere the findings achieved through benchmarking models
generally has it major affects on the health and care services environments. This approach
explore the investigate approach and structural equation model to test application of sound
models for the quality services. TQM generally used in analysing the data in perfect manner.
This TQM is normally a instrumental in expediting audit, monitoring and it provides the review
of performance indices.
Above quality system: Thus CQI is rely on the development of clinical practises and
somewhere it is based on the principle in tremendous opportunities which exist in improvements
of the care processes and facilitation. Generally the quality care institution prefer to have a
assurance of the programs since generally they focus on identified regulatory organisation
although the documentation and reviewing and supervise process all such things are included in
this.
Benefit of applying the approach: The help of systematic practises for care clinics
makes in developing the continuously reviewing practises. A ideal quality system has the
capacity of bringing internal and external benefits in care facilities. Those care facilities who fail
to apply the quality facilities may fail to have a progress against the leading under achievement.
Thus these all the approaches helps in making the quality control over the care service
provided to the patients (Aveyard, 2014). The quality system thus helps in getting the care
environment and working by the clinics according to that.
P(2.3) Potential barriers in delivering the quality.
Internal and external barriers: The internal challenges make a disproportionate priority
in the improvement and having poor communication mechanisms concern. Somewhere these
concerns lead to aggravated patients and becomes failure to accept the institute as a robust
complaints system. The external barrier that discourages the the delivery of health and cares
services to the patients and RUH include the lack of health of insurance, provider financing
power and having less of social support.
4
Document Page
Undying the issues of each barrier: Poor communication thus leads to the inability in
making the necessary skills required to handle the special patients and the cases too. Thus having
any failure to facility makes to develop the management inability of having a drive institutional
changes. Although the health insurance results in inability of getting sanctioned by the program
across the all citizens. All such things which is poor will always be result of mismanagement.
Impact of identified barriers: Management in the health and care services are generally
not captured by in isolation and it can yield the poor results from the not treating with the
professional mindset. Those diseases are controlled in which the patients, their families and care
providers immensely understood the patients situation for getting the early intervention
management.
The impact of such factors on the heath and care services are high thus there are many
potential barriers which affects that in imminence manner (Richard and Shea, 2011). Identified
barriers and internal/external helps in making improvements for health and care services in
perfect manner which helps the patients to get cure soon.
Task 3
P(3.1) Evaluation the effectiveness of policies, system and procedures.
The evaluation of such things helps in getting effectiveness of working. Health and care
organisation are constituted to provide quality health services to society (Grol and et.al. , 2013).
The main thing of such bodies is to get objective of firm and putting of various policies on
diseases management programs and providing the better health care programs and coordination
and having the incentives for the health care service providers and also having the non –
physician like nurses provided. All such things is there with health care information technology
and they have the performance based pay schemes for them health care providers.
Effectiveness of policies: Quality health and social care has the support of the federal
legislation which makes and takes care of ensuring the improve quality and it helps in reducing
the cost of care of patients through projecting procedures and policies that supports art. Health
cares is having a ability of coordinating with the medical services for the high risk patients and
by having interaction among them helps in getting the guarantee quality provision. They have to
utilise the quality policies and procedures in effective manner which helps in getting the quality
services. At NHS, nurses do offer the medical services and the social services to patients and

they use to provide the private care counselling too. Somewhere the old age people having
cancer or suffering from heart attack etc.. should require the necessary care treatments to the
patients and that should address the situation in adequate manner.
P(3.2) Other factors which affect the achievement of quality.
Those factors which affect the quality in NHS is having all the records with them that
which factors provided them a positive outcome or the quantifiable outputs. Although the reward
for money to funders and commissioners as they provide quality to patients in effective manner
and this results in satisfaction to patients (Broadhurst and et.al., 2010). Somewhere NHS is also
establishing robust system which is going to include the level of performance through features of
quality standard. Firms without policy lead to fail in their internal system and this leads into poor
quality of care services. Moreover the NHS provides raised credibility with the stakeholders in
their quality achievement.
Achievement is that in which many hurdles come in between always and they have to
eliminated for having a great quality work of health care services. The NHS is having a great
quality services to many of the people that's why they have received the quality of achievements.
P(3.3) The ways in which the health and care facility should be improved.
There are many ways to improve the facility system in health and social care services. By
improving the facility system in health care makes to bring the patients in clinics and satisfying
them. There few ways to improve the quality of service areas follows:
Identify the two three problems at once: The NHS has concern like waiting for the
number so long before the patient being attended too. Although the next concern is facility to
understaffing the results in bad manner and in NHS large number of patients enter in a single
period of time (Lamb and et.al., 2011). Clinic with less number of staff and equipment face
problems in making a admit a new patient in hospital somewhere due to this clinic provide the
bad quality of services to the patients. It is required by the firm to identify the problems in health
cares services as this helps in improving the quality of service in right manner.
Measures to solve the problems: Patients should feel satisfied with the quality of
services they have received, to make them comfortable in hospitals the administration of care
and clinical part users centres are very essential. But the facility of care can go understaffing
through employing more personnel in response to increase needs of users. Even NHS has the
responsibility and duty of purchasing more and more updated equipment to meet growing

demand of users. This will lead in expansion of infrastructure and employ the personnel which
satisfy or fit best to growing population in the matter of patients.
Task 4
Covered in PPT
Introduction
This concept is that which makes the confirmation that product or service is consistent.
Although quality management do have four aspect like quality planning, assurance, control, and
improvement etc. this thing will include the methods of evaluating the health care services and
the impact in involving the users of service.
P(4.1) Evaluate the methods for evaluating health and care services.
The methods for evaluation of health and social care services are as follows:
Three methods for evaluating: The analysis can be done with three methods those
are( CQC, TQM, CQI). Thus CQC evaluation of external quality is done by having the
knowledge of external environment, this helps in the documentation of the external factors which
is done within the framework of health and social care. Thus TQM, works to know the buyer
behaviour and customer and their effects on the external environment. Health and care services
generally uses the research with matrix to trace the relationship between the TQM and the
corporate financial performance which is having direct affect on the productivity in terms of the
service distribution. Moreover the CQI is essential in carrying out the developing clinical
practises and procedures for improvement which leads in care and processes and facilitation.
Positive and negative aspects: Somewhere in the organisation internal factor form the
basis for change and external factor informs about the condition of change. Motivation of facility
helps in transformation has strongly influenced by application of methods and it evaluates the
quality and make suggestion where necessary.
Methods to improve: Health and social care has to support normally to the use of TQM
on satisfaction and it underscores this by through the strategic importance and it has corporate
social responsibility for the good management and policies of environments. The management
can use the TQM to have the analysis of hard and complicated influences over the internal and
the external factors of the environment.

P(4.2) Impact that involves the users of services.
Advantage and disadvantage of involving services: The NHS ensures that the
assessment of quality and does not get divorced in practises and care giving, thus they create a
guarantee meaningful social care. Somewhere this also focus on emphasis to quality assessment
aspects within care giving environments top equity, efficiency and accessibility to the relevant
services. Getting the context in quality of health and care services demand a broader perspective
in between the care worker and the user relationship.
However, failure can involve the users of services get normally injures the normal
operation and facilities. Somehow this could make it hard to access the user to service care when
the facilities work in isolation and It includes all the parties and stakeholders.
Factors for improvement in quality: Administrations are those across the boundaries of
world continue to introduce the new reforms to the health and the social systems and it provides
market with great knowledge base to enable the concerned authorities which increases the skills
for the greater service delivery. Although the developments attempts to seek diversify the health
and care environment to equip care givers and with the capacity in control system through the
nurturing of health and care reforms. Apart from expanding the various facilities and to
accommodate the more patients and the congestion in the end. Now, in today's time the health
cares service provides the need to scale the new heights in services delivery and this helps with
the intimate tasks which arouse confidence users in concept of the care providers.
Efforts to solve the problems.
The questionnaire can help the health care centres just because this can be used as
feedback through this they can bring improvements in the hospitals and it is a kind of written
choice of answer which is devised for the purpose of getting statistical study.
Conclusion
There are various methods through the improvement in services can be done in health and
social care services. Thus all those methods is having some advantage and disadvantages too and
they can be improved as well.
CONCLUSION
Thus health and social cares service are those which every patients look forward to it.
Their expectation with the hospitals are there in many ways which has to be fulfilled by the

clinics. The NHS has many pitfalls in their working style but through the different methods they
can utilise and can satisfy the patients. The users do looks for the quality services in the clinics to
get their diseases far away from them. They should use a communication style which can
influence them in perfect manner. The things come out with the report is that hospitals do have to
follow policies made for them and have to provide the quality services to the users of it and using
of different methods can help them in improving the services in the right manner and this can
result in great entry of users in the hospitals for the care services by them. The provider and the
taker of services both should have a relationship in great way which can help tom get cure soon.
