Introduction:
Good health is the most important factor in one's life. To improve the medication error it is
important to improve the quality management service of the health care unit of our country.
Quality improvement is not only about giving proper medication it is about the cleanliness of
that unit, cost analysis of that unit, good quality food and comforting etc. when the health care
unit giving their patient all those benefits with perfect quality then only it can be considered that
the health care unit providing quality service.
Describe two ways (initiatives) healthcare quality can be improved to help
reduce errors and improve patient safety.
For a healthcare unit, patient safety is the important factor of their service. Their main motive is
to take good care of their patients. But still in some cases casualty happens. These casualties
should be avoided (Singh & Sittig 2015). With the help of a quality improvement system, the
health care units can set a proper standard. There are two effective initiatives as follows:
To improve the quality of the health care unit the medical unit must take care about the
availability of their medical experts. Medical experts can be specialized and experienced
doctors, nurses and experienced and efficient medical staffs as well. there is a huge
problem in most of the medical unit that the availability of doctors is nurses are quite
low. The reason behind this kind of situation might be that health care unit cannot pay
them good and does not provide them with those proper facilities whatever they deserve
(Johnson & Sollecito 2018).
To improve the quality of the medical or health care unit another thing is very important
that is the expenses of that unit. In most of the cases of the health care unit, they create

the maximum amount of bill in small medical cases. Sometimes patients and their family
are unable to pay their bills and that time they mortgage their properties. This kind of
scenario is not appreciable. Sometimes the patients and their families choose death over
the treatment as they cannot pay the bills of that health care unit.
Discuss how creating incentives for providers (healthcare organizations) can
improve quality and reimbursements (payments) for services/care.
For the improvement of the service or the quality of the health care unit incentive plays a vital
role. In every sector, whether it is the health care sector or the marketing sector incentive plays a
major part among the employees. The incentive is another form of encouragement. It motives the
employees of that organization (Katz & Detsky 2016). Incentives are offered to them only who
plays their role perfectly and effortlessly. In such a case, the beneficiaries also can set a proper
target among the other employees of that particular organization. In the case of the medical unit
incentive should be provided among those employees who attend the maximum number of
patients in one month. That employee must be very much dedicated towards all of their patients.
That incentive process must be introduced among the doctors also. This incentive process not
only encourages or motivates people it also creates a healthy competition among the employees
as well (Prince et al., 2016). This kind of competition always creates the working environment
very work friendly. Sometimes doctors even tried to give their best in some case according to
this competition.

With the help of detailed analysis we can understand that medical insurance can not only cover
the medical treatment expenses it will help to give the quality service to the patients what they

and quality medication process. A patient will not die without treatment. And the insurance of a
company can also secure the future of that medical unit also. They can take a few innovative and
important steps as well to improve the quality measures of that particular organization.
