1HEALTHCARE ASSIGNMENT
The situation that has been described in the assignment is about the overuse of the healthcare
systems. The writer has described about the importance of reducing the use of health care
services. According to the writer, people are overusing the healthcare services meaninglessly.
The surest way to reduce the excess use of the healthcare system is to build a trustworthy
relationship with the doctors. It is very important for the doctors to talk directly with the patient
so that the patients can understand what is best for them and they must use the best available
treatment methods (Nassery et al., 2015). People visit the doctors with the hope of receiving the
best available practices. The overuse of the healthcare system symbolizes that fact that the
doctors are forcing the patients to undergo very costly treatments without spending much time
with the patient. This happens because nowadays the insurers discourage the doctors from
spending more time with the patient. The doctors are becoming more reluctant with their works.
The doctors force the patients to undergo the latest treatment methods otherwise they will lose
the income from this. The hospital will lose income as the patient will not undergo the diagnostic
tests. The doctor and the nurses will lose the incentives associated with the diagnoses of the
patient. This incidences need to be reduced and the doctors should not indulge themselves in the
malpractice of earning incentives. They must treat the patients with patience and should spend
more time with them (Brownlee et al., 2017).
