1.1 Philosophies of working in the
partnership
Health care professionals in the hospital firm need to
play a crucial role in partnership working as each
level of activity is generally related with the
performance of group. Thus, partnership is treated as
a shared commitment among partners and it will be
influenced by the benefits as well as drawbacks
which arise from the partnership.
Further, philosophy of working in partnership in health
and social care sector generally carries a set of
believes and values which are related with the health
care organizations as well as agencies.

Moreover, partnership working also refers as conducting
business with other health care organizations and agencies in
order to develop mutual supportive relationship with various
service users. Secretary of the State of Health in UK has done
terrific development in health care sector by conducting Eco-
friendly creation and having partnership with different
communities which have increased the health care services
within the UK. Moreover, by having more transparency in the
health and social care sector, it provides a healthy support in
developing qualities and providing effective care to the
patients.

Empowerment philosophy: Empowerment generally means
sharing power with a person who is in lack with quality. It is
considered as a technique of improving one's ability to solve their
consequences and they will feel that they have control of their life
in their hands only.
Autonomy philosophy: Autonomy is focused on giving freedom in
order to act on self interests. Under this, autonomy is considered
as an ability to change the environment with scared resources
using their own judgement.
Informed choice philosophy: Information needs to be accessible by
people for making a decision in a informed manner. Citizens
require quality of information to take crucial decision regarding
the health and social care services.

Respect philosophy: It is defined as a process of protecting the
autonomy of service user by giving them necessary details
regarding the medical and care treatments and with that, they
will be able to take their own decisions.
Power sharing philosophy: While working in the partnership,
health care organization uses power sharing in order to achieve a
common understanding regarding different rules and
responsibilities.
Independence philosophy: Here, independence is considered as
an ability to take important decisions on the crucial aspects of
individuals. It is eventually related with the individual
characteristics, their ability as well as control.

1.2 Effectiveness of working in
partnership
Partnership relationship is differ form department to
department in the context of health and social care services.
With the help of such relationship, proper and efficient
services will be delivered to the individuals. Further, service
providers in the health care home are very efficient in
performing their tasks and duties. It involves all the care
takers, doctors and nurses. Moreover, in health care
organizations, there are prior three levels which business
venture has to adopt in order to improve their quality and get

Inter- professional level: It is treated as a one of the important
factor where health care organizations can help one other either
individually or in group. Each and every service provider in the
health and social care need to maintain close relationship with
one another so that they will be able to give effective services to
the individuals.
Business and policy level: Business relationship need to be made
in proper and precise manner. Further, the top management of
health care units need to frame effective policies and have to
implement the same in order see the benefit of that from the
user's perspective. Caretakers, nurses are also benefited as they
gain specific knowledge while working in the health and social
