INTRODUCTION
1.1: Overview of the project
The current project management is based in the topic of health care which is mainly
associated with maintaining improvement in health by the prevention, diagnosis, treatment,
recovery, or cure of disease by the heath professional to remove or cure illness, injury, and other
physical and mental impairments in the people (Bjorvatn and Wald, 2018). The Health care
business selected for current project management is located at Durham, North East England, UK
which provides home care facilities to its customers and patients. Thus, this health care business
wanted to have an effective transportation system for its business for a maximum of six hours
daily to provide better customer services and convenience to its patients and employees. Thus,
current project management is based in providing a viable transportation system for Health care
business for picking up and dropping off its customers and employees to set a better
collaboration with customers and other Homecare.

The statement of problem for current investigation is based in needed of transportation
system for a Heath Care business to offer effective picking up and dropping facility for its
customers and employees.

The selection of current project management plan is rationale as having an effective
transportation system is vital and essentially needed for Heath care services to provide a regular
and effective picking up and drooping off facility to its customers and employees which leads to
enhanced satisfaction level and better collaboration (Zuo and et. al., 2018). Further, analysis of
various approaches to lead effective transportation along with analysis of chosen transportation
project management plan on the overall performance and productivity of Health care business is
also rationale and vital to improve the success and performance level of a Heath Care Business
by the means of providing convenient and better customers services to enhance their satisfaction
and loyalty level.

The current project management pan is based on evaluation of need and importance of
transportation system for a Health care business. It has been observed that Health care business
needs and required efficient transportation system to ensure efficient picking up and dropping off
customers and employees to ensure better services and enhanced convenience level for both
customers and employees (Walker and Lloyd-Walker, 2016). The best options and approaches
available for a Health care business comprises of following two project approaches which are
summarised as below:
 To have a rented mode of transportation which comprises of a collaboration or agreement
with some transportation company to provide ambulances on rental basis of pick and
drop of employees and customers for a maximum of six hours daily?
 The another approach for a Health care business to have efficient transportation system
and picking up and dropping off facility for its customers and employees comprises of
buying of some new ambulance along with recruiting some skilled drivers for timely pick
up and drop of its customers and employees (Görög, 2016).
It has been analysed that out of the above two sated approach the first one which comprises
of rented mode of transportation is quite complex and expensive for a Health care business as
agreement and collaboration with a third party is involved. Thus, adoption of second approach of
transportation system which consists of comprises of buying of some new ambulance along with
recruiting some skilled drivers is more suitable and appropriate for Health care business as it
provides more flexibility and efficiency in pick and drop services for customers and employees.

Health care team: The main responsibility of health care team is to ensure that all the
health care essential instruments, medication and other first aid items must be kept and well
arranged whenever any emergency found within the field. So that best possible health care
service can be provided to the patients who are in need.
Management team: The main responsibility of management team is to ensure that all the
resources and man power will remain available and well arranged so that in case of any
emergency these can be used to provide health care services without any kind of delays. Other
than this they are also responsible to ensure that each operation must get executed in ethical and
legal manner by implementing all the standards related with health care services.
Drivers: The main responsibilities of ambulance driver is to ensure that they transport the
health and care facilities to the patients whenever it is required on timely manner so that the
quality of services can be improved (Picciotto, 2019).
Government: - The main responsibility of government and other legal authority in this
project is to provide appropriate fund to the institution so that they can arrange better
transportation facility that further support in enhancing the quality of services. This is turn
provide support to the health care institution in executing their operation in right direction and be
able to perform it in legal manner.
