Task 1:
A.
Human resources for producing the video:
For the preparation of the video, the first requirement will be to gather the human
resources who will be demonstrating the contents in the video. Human resources will be
required who will develop the script for the video and who will shoot the video. Due to the
fact that it is going to be a group video, therefore; it will be required to engage the
participants who have the relevant knowledge about the topic which would be discussed. In
this aspect, four different participants have been chosen who will be demonstrating about the
importance of healthy eating and the importance of the healthy eating contest. The four
participants have been chosen on the basis of their previous experiences on being part of such
promotional videos and activities. This would help in increasing the quality of the video. The
four participants have been chosen because of the fact that it would not be attractive to make
a video in which only one or two people will talk about the topic entirely. For developing the
script, a qualified writer has been chosen who has the relevant knowledge about the topic and
also has relevant skills on writing these scripts. The project manager will shot this video.
Human resources for the healthy eating contest:
In the scenario of conducting a healthy eating contest, it will be important to engage
some human resources who have the capability and experiences of managing similar events
in the past. It will be important to engage the four participants who would be participating in
the video. This is because; they would have the knowledge about how the healthy eating can
be measured and therefore; they could be useful for managing the events. Along with theme,
some volunteers will be required who would help the management to hold the event
successfully. They will be engaged in the important activities such as arranging and setting
up the infrastructure required for the events. Even, the teachers of the school will be also
engaged to monitor the eating activities of the students during meal hour. Two nutritionists
will be approached who would be measuring the health development of the children and also
will be able to guide them for choosing the appropriate meals. They will also communicate
with the parents of the children and will advice them about the types of meals that should be
prepared for their children.

Physical resources for producing the video:
For producing the video on the healthy, first of all, it will be important to arrange a high
quality camera. It will be important to ensure that the camera would help in capturing video
of HD Quality preferably 720p or more (Ni, 2018). Then, some editing tools will be used for
eliminating the unwanted noise and for making the background clear. However; it will be
ensured that the background will be kept same and it will be not replaced with fake ones. The
next requirement will be the sound recorder and pocket microphone which will be wireless.
The sound recorder will be also attached with the microphone for better sound capture. The
script will be documented and will be further provided to all the participants. It will be
ensured that the area where the video will be shot will have enough lights to make the picture
clear. High power LED bulbs will be used for this purpose.
Physical resources for the healthy eating contest:
There will be requirements of some important resources for the healthy eating contest
that will be conducted in the school. First of all two weighting machines will be arranged
through which the weights of the children will be measured. There will be requirements of
systems in which the data of the contest will be stored. The instruments of measuring blood
pressures and cholesterol level will be arranged. Those instruments will be used for
measuring the health progress of the students. Space will be provided for the seating
arrangement of the nutritionist where the parents and the children will be able to visit them.

Technological resources for producing the video:
For producing the video, proper audio as well video production software will be
required. Along with this, there will be requirement of proper editing software which will
help in improving the quality of the video. DVD burner and storage devices such as pen drive
will be required for storing the video after its completion.
Technological resources for the healthy eating contest:
There will be a number of technological resources which will be required for
implementing and managing the healthy eating contest. Proper internet connection will be
required for communicating with the parents. This will be required as the daily progress

report of the children will be mailed to their parents. Along with this, a software application
will be required which will help in calculating and measuring the daily health outcomes of
the children. This will be installed by communicating with the nutritionist and some
healthcare professionals. Data backup system will be required in which the daily data of the
contest will be kept as the backup (Li et al., 2016). The technical resources can be added or
increased as per the requirements of the contest. It will be also ensured that proper security
tools would be installed in the systems for maintaining the privacy of the data of the children.

Budget for producing the video:
In the process of producing the video, it will be important to develop the budget. This
will help in deriving the approximate cost for the video. Budget of each item is given below:

The focus will be on using high quality items. This is the reason why, cost of the HD video
camera has been estimated as $400. Mini microphone will be used for enhancing the quality

quality sound for the video. The sound recorder would be bought within an affordable budget
of $200. Editing software will be bought from online source and it is estimated that the cost
would be around $150. Two LED bulbs will be required for increasing the brightness and
therefore; $50 has been estimated. The approximate budget has been considered as $1050.
This budget is flexible. However; it will be ensured that efforts will be made to complete the
project of the video within this approximate budget.

This contest is going to be important for proper health improvement of the children.
Therefore; it will be important to assess the proper budget for this contest at first. Budget of
each of the items will be estimated separately.

connection will cost approximate $80. Then, a software application will be developed

$800. In order to manage the human resources, an approximate cost of $900 has been
estimated. The, two weighing machines will be required which can cost $100 each and
therefore; it is estimated that the total cost will be around $200.

Potential risk to the video project and the process of mitigation:
One of the risks in the video project could come in terms of the weakness in the
quality. This could happen if the content of the scrip is not elaborated well by the participants
in the video. In a video project, it is always important to express the motive and the intention.
Therefore; it is the responsibility of the participants to express their opinion with perfection.
If the participants are unable to do so, then it could lower the overall quality of the video. In
such case, the viewers will not be able to understand the meaning of the content properly and
they will not be aware about the intention properly. In order to mitigate this risk, it will be
important to assess the quality of the content before the shoot. Further the participants need to
be aware about the content and their role in the video.
Potential risk to the healthy eating content and the process of mitigation:
The risk in the healthy eating content could be in the aspect of creating awareness
among the children and their parents. The main motive of this contest is to create the
awareness on healthy eating. If this could not be done, then the project will not be considered
as successful. Therefore; it will be important to engage the teachers to monitor the progress of
the children and along with they will require taking the responsibility on creating the
awareness among the children.
Task 3: Team work and motivation:
Team work in a project of business always helps in completing it with
perfection. This is because; in team work, it is always possible to utilize skills of different
people and with their collaboration; the challenges in the project can be countered effectively.
One of the examples of teamwork can be considered in the process of developing a software
application for a large sector company. In order to develop the software, use of different
skills of the team members can help in completing it with perfection. Team work will help in
improving the quality of the software with success (Salas et al., 2015). In my professional
career, teamwork helped in learning about the process by which a critical project can be
completed with proper collaboration. It also helped me to respect the skills of my colleagues
which further assisted me in gaining some unknown knowledge from them. It helped in
increasing my skills and experiences by which I have been able to contribute to the success of
many projects in the organization where I worked. I have understood how the process of team

work can be utilized in the business and how the business professionals get benefited if they
can implement team work in their organizations.
Task 4: Policy development:
The workplace policy of ABC school regarding smoking is given below:
 According to Smoke-free Environments Act 1990, smoking will be prohibited in the
workplace ("Smoke-free Environments Act", 2019).
 A smoking room is permitted according to the Act and thus, a specific smoking place
will be provided for the employees within the school ("Smoke-free Environments Act
1990 No 108 (as at 14 March 2018), Public Act 5 Smoking in workplaces prohibited –
New Zealand Legislation", 2019). However; no students will be allowed to enter the
place.
 According to Employment Relations Act 2000, an employee should not involve in
any act which can result in the disturbances of other employees ("Employment
Relations Act 2000 No 24 (as at 01 July 2019), Public Act Contents – New Zealand
Legislation", 2019). It is also illegal to conduct any activity which could impact the
health of other employees. Therefore; smoking in front of the employees who are not
comfortable is not supported within the workplace.
 Presence of any stores which sale tobacco products within the 100 meters of the
school will not be allowed.
 If any employee is caught smoking within the premises other than the smoking room
will be immediately terminated from their job.
 If any employee reports the unethical act of smoking made by other employees,
actions will be taken against them and required support will be given to that particular
employee so that such incidents never happen again.
 If the violation is made on the policies, there would be penalties for the employees.
