AI Summary
This report presents a feasibility analysis of a research project focused on consumer attitudes and behaviors towards healthy food consumption within the food industry. The analysis includes the role of an industry consultant, a summary of questions posed to the consultant, and a review of the feedback received. The consultant, identified as managers in the food industry with an average of five years of experience, provided insights on the importance and justification of the research, the applied methodology (random and convenience sampling), and the potential industrial applications of the findings. The report highlights the consultant's feedback, emphasizing the significance of the research for businesses in the food and beverage sector, the changing consumer preferences due to health concerns, and the feasibility of the research methodology. The author reflects on the feedback, acknowledging both positive aspects, such as the potential societal benefits and the study's efficacy, and negative aspects, such as potential biases in respondent answers. Project Title
To conduct research on the attitudes and behaviours towards the consumption of
healthy food within the food industry.
Role of the Industry Consultant
The industry consultant in the research is determined as the managers who work
within the food industry. The role-play of the managers in the food industry is recognised to
deal with different activities, such as interacting with the stakeholders of the company. They
are also accountable to manage the quality and the quantity of the food, ensuring that the
same is healthy and safe as well as enough for the customers to consume. In addition to this,
keeping the financial records of the industry is also the duty of the managers. The working
years of the managers are recognised to be five years on an average calculation.
Summary of the Questions presented to the Industry Representative
Question 1
The importance of the research topic for the food industry can be stated to be that
the business organisations dealing with food and beverages will be able to understand the
behavioural approach of the customers towards the choice of food and drinks they prefer
because of the increasing health problems. This, in turn, will help the food industries to deal
with their business plans and transactions.
Question 2
The justification provided for the research is profoundly justified because the same
would efficiently provide the understanding of the food practices taken into consideration by
the food industries to fulfil the demand of the customers of consuming healthy food.

Question 3
The research methodology used in the concerned research was determined as the
random sampling method for undertaking the response of the sizeable heterogeneous group
and the non-profitability convenient sampling in the concern of recording the response of
the managers through the help of an interview session. The feasibility of the same is
identified to be achievable at a percentage of 90-95%. This is because the respondents may be
biased or close-minded towards the responses they give.
Question 4
The findings that are based on this research study surely has industrial applications
that are related to the business connected to food and beverages. This is because these
findings can be used in the food and beverages industry to determine the changed taste and
behaviour of the peer consumers towards the consumption of healthy food.
Summary of the Feedback from the Industry Representative
Based on the analysis of the feedback provided by the managers working in the food
industry, it can be stated that the concerned research project is of considerable significance to
the business organisations that deal with the synergy of food and beverage industry. It is also
examined with the help of the feedback that the increase in the health issues because of the
unhealthy and adulterated food the people consume have changed the tastes and preferences
of the customers towards the consumption of food as well as beverages. Moreover, the
feedback also provides with the understanding that the research will help in the examination
of the nature of the food industries in the concern of the possible changes and approaches
they are taking in the concern of fulfilling the demands of the customers. The feasibility of
the research methodology used in the study is determined to be an effective one with a
percentage scale of 90-95 % as per the feedback of the managers. The gap is determined to

exist because the managers feel that the respondents may be biased or close-minded in the
response they are providing. However, with a percentage of 90-95% genuineness in the study,
it can be stated that the findings that would be commenced with the help of the concerned
research study would prove to be significant and a successful one. In addition to this, it is also
summarised that the research study can be implicitly applied to the synergy of the industry
applications that are connected to the business organisations working with the sale of foods
and beverages. The primary reason determined behind the same is found to be as the topic of
the research study itself suggests that the attitudes and behaviours of the end consumers
towards the consumption of healthy food within the food industry will be determined with the
help of the concerned study. This, in turn, will help the business organisations in dealing with
the sale of food products to implement the use of strategically changes plans and processes
that will help the firms to fulfil the unique demands of the customers that are related to the
consumption of food that is healthy as well as safe for their health.
Reflection on the Feedback
Given the outcome received out of the above-mentioned summary of the feedback
provided by the industrial representative, I have both the positive and negative viewpoint on
the same. Concerning the positive side, I personally feel that if the sample respondents
provide a genuine response to the researcher, the study will turn out to be an implicitly
significant and useful one. According to my point of view, the feasibility of the study is
efficient and capable enough to research the outcomes of the hypotheses presented in the
main topic of the study. However, a research study is not alone based on the effectiveness of
the research topic and the methodology used in the same (Kumar, 2019). The sample
respondents also need to be open and genuine towards the questions asked; only then would a
research study would turn out to be a fruitful one. Moreover, I feel that this research study
would be of profound benefit to society because of the topic the same is based upon. This

research study will not only help the organisational firms dealing with food to understand the
nature and behavioural approach of its potential customers towards the food. Along with this,
the concerned research study will help society beware about the harmful effects the unhealthy
and adulterate food is causing to their health. The dangerous diseases such as obesity, heart
issues and increase of blood pressure could be the reason for the consumption of the
unhealthy food habits of the people (Mozaffarian, 2016). Therefore, this research study will
help the general society understand that they need to change their food habits to a healthier
one on an emergency basis.
However, in lieu of this, the things I would like to change in the research study is
concerned with the sample size of the customers. I would wish to instead take a sample size
of 50 employees along with the 50 customers and the five managers in the concern of
undermining the thought process of the employees for the food products they are either
manufacturing or packing for the final sale. I believe that the employees of the food
organisations play a vital role in the secured and safety production or packaging of the
products. The managers look after the employees, but the employees are the ones who
actually know what the food has in it (Drucker, 2018). I feel that including the employees as
the sample size of the respondents will provide more effectiveness to the research.
