Introduction
A healthy workplace is necessary for organizations in order to generate positive output in
an environment that is full of stress. A healthy work environment within an organization
comprises of various aspects like the culture of workplace, health as well as job security of the
employees, supportive environment etc. A healthy work environment is one of the most
important things that influences the overall motivation, confidence as well as productivity of the
employees. Waitrose is British supermarkets brand that sells groceries as a part of largest
employee owned retailer of Britain, John Lewis Partnership. The company is headquartered in
Bracknell, United Kingdom and has a positive environment, comparatively less staff turnover,
high team spirit among members of the team and healthy employer employee relationships.
Thus, healthy working environment of the company makes sure that there is no bias among the
employees and that all of them work in coordination with each other.

Research Methodology
Research methodology can be defined as particular methods or techniques that are used

helps in solving various problems relating to operations as well as planning in an organisation

and helps in carrying out the process of decision making smoothly. A research can be carried out
through various resources like primary methods, secondary methods, qualitative or quantitative
research etc. In context to this research, the research method, data collection as well as the
method of research sampling are described below -
Research method – Quantitative Research has been undertaken for the research in order
to analyse the role of a healthy working environment in a business to enhance the performance of
business and employee productivity.
Data collection – The data for the respective research has been collected through primary
research with the help of a questionnaire. Secondary methods of research are used in order to
develop the section of literature review.
Research sampling – In order to carry out the research, probability sampling method
will be used to collect relevant information that is not bias. Random sampling has also been used
to select respondents in a random manner in order to obtain more reliable results. 30 respondents
have been taken into consideration to gather accurate and reliable information.
