 Why are you applying to the HEC MBA Program now? What is the professional
objective that will guide your career choice after your MBA? how will the HEC
MBA contribute to the achievement of this objective?
I am applying to the HEC MBA Program now, as I feel that I must utilize the scholarship
opportunity in the best way possible. I have also mentioned in the curriculum vitae that I have
the desire of becoming a successful and innovative minister in the UAE government. To do so, I
must be able to get admission in one of the best business schools. As per my perception, HEC
Paris will be the best place for this. On the other hand, this will also help me to focus on the
subjects that I wish to take up during my higher study or education course. The subjects are
financial accounting & reporting–bach, managerial economics, statistics & business analytics
strategic management. I feel that taking admission and also getting the opportunity to study here
will be very useful because I will get many advantages.
One among them is to get the training and mentoring from internationally acclaimed and
recognized faculties (HEC Paris. 2020). Apart from this, as I have the objective of studying
subjects like managerial economics, statistics, and others, it is very essential to get admission to
this college as they have a well suited and best structure of curriculum (HEC Paris. 2020). The
classes usually last for 16 months and as the size of each class is only about 260 students, I will
be getting the opportunity of learning every subject with proper detailing and there will also be
any query solving classes that will help me to get my queries solved immediately. However, on
the other hand, I will also be able to get the best exposure from a cross cultural environment as I
will get about 92 percent of the International students in the classroom sessions. This will be a
highly useful opportunity as I will be able to talk, interact and also understand the thoughts and

mindsets of so many other students coming from different places. This, in turn, will be highly
useful for fulfilling my goal of becoming a minister in the UAE Government. In the future, as a
minister, I will be able to interact with so many different people formally, over the world and
also understand the Global issues and solve them immediately.
The other important aspect of this college is the on-job training facility (HEC Paris. 2020). I
read the University prospectus and the individual comments given by the students who have
appreciated the MBA classes. The classes are so well organized and interactive that students
have the chance of conducting the team projects and also adding them along with the CVs to
present to the respectable MNCs after completion of the course.
As it is evident from my CV that I am also a certified win-win negotiator, this will be helpful
for me to undertake the MBA program and also the leadership courses associated with it. During
any team conflicts, I will be able to solve those issues and also ensure that the involved parties
are being mutually benefited. As I aspire to join the UAE government shortly, I will also have to
make sure that that I utilize the leadership development and training classes conducted at HEC
Paris.
 What do you consider your most significant life achievements?
I feel that losing my body weight has been one of the most important
achievements in my life so face. I realized that one of my major issue was my obesity. I had
to work on this because this was taking a huge toll on my body and healthy living. I weighed
about 135 kg. Once it so happened that I was out with my family, I feel down and had huge
difficulty in breathing. I fainted and was taken to hospital. Doctors told me that all this
happened due to my weight. I realized that this cannot go on and I have to do something

about it. Therefore I was henceforth determined to be able to work on this and lose my body
weight. I kept on taking daily exercise and also changed my food habit. I started taking a
healthy diet and also joined many work out classes and training clubs. This helped me to lose
weight and my weight was finally 65 kg. This si a very inspiring stories that I want to share
with all to motivate them.
I have also been able to overcome my language issues. I was always a very
shy and reserved person. Right from my childhood days till my schooling I have always been
a self-occupied person and do not like the involvement or interference of others. However,
later on, when I stepped into my professional life, I realized that I have to work over my
communication skills so that I can take up the different challenges that will be coming in my
way both in the course of my professional and personal life.
 Leadership and ethics are inevitably intertwined in the business world. Describe a
situation in which you have dealt with these issues and how they have influenced
you.
I faced such a situation while doing an industrial project in my college. I was the
team in charge and wanted to make sure that the project was being done properly. This is
because the two of the team members were from Russia, Uzbekistan and they were not much
well versed in speaking English. It was for this sociolinguistic difference` that there were
often clash among the team members and they were not able to work properly. The rest of the
team wanted me to escalate against the two Russian team members or shift them to some
other team. An ideal leader must listen to the opinion of all the members of the team and on

the other has to follow an unbiased and neutral method as well (O’Brien 2017). As a leader, I
ensured that I am following a people-oriented approach and also maintained business ethics. I
maintained the ethic of racial discrimination. No employee must face discrimination based on
their social or religious backgrounds. Following the cross-cultural sessions, all the team
members realized their differences and started working in a cooperative and mutually
beneficial manner. I also arranged for English speaking training sessions for the two Russian
employees.
I feel that I will be able to gain better knowledge about leadership and ethics after joining
HEC Paris for the MBA program. This is useful because this will help me to get a step ahead
towards my goal of becoming a minister in the UAE Government. This is mainly because I will
also be able to understand the different situations of ethical dilemmas and also how I will be able
to overcome them.
 Imagine a life entirely different from the one you now lead, what would it be?
I am an Engineer currently working in Marketing & Commercial Dept working with
contracts and managing customers and operations, However if given a chance to think about
some other options I would see myself as an inventor to invent and discover something from
science and technology. Therefore I feel that if I could work on this aspect then I would be able
to make many new kinds of inventions or the good. As per my perception, this alternative
profession would have been much help for me because this would enable me to help people all
around the world. Some people are physically retarded and are also not able to hire or buy any

wheelchairs or even the supporting sticks. Therefore I would discover some scientific
technologies that would help me to invent a wheelchair on remote control mechanisms that
would be helping all the people in general and the poor people in particular.
This is mainly because I am associated with mechanical engineering and I have got my
degree in Bachelor of Applied Science, Mechanical Engineering Technology Abu Dhabi Men's
College, Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT). I have also passed my academic course with
outstanding and an honors degree. This knowledge will surely help me to work further in the
field of science and technology. I would try to design these remote-controlled wheelchairs to
people who live alone and are physically retarded. I will also try to give this product free of cost
to the poor people so that they face no issues in affording the same. This would help me to take
care of the needs and demands of people from all economic classes.
 What monument or site would you advise a first-time visitor to your country or city
to discover, and why?
The site is Burj Khalifa which is the most expensive square meter in the world. It is
located in United Arab Emirates, Dubai, UAE and I am sure you all have heard about it.I feel
that this will be one of the best sites that will appeal to the taste and the preference pattern of all
the visitors coming from any part of the world. This is a very unique site that has wonderful
interiors and also exteriors (Guo, Kwon, and Kareem2016). The loft and the tallest building in
the world which also conducts wonderful and also breathtaking light and sound shows are
significant aspects of this place. This can give a lifetime experience to all the tourists. The tower
has the highest observatory deck and the tourists can visit this deck and get immersed in the
world of the augmented reality device that is designed by the Gsmprjct of Montreal.

This is one of the most time saving and also one of the best technological brilliance that
will help visitors in viewing the surrounding landscape and the scenario along with the images
that have been saving earlier (Bowman 2016). On the important days of the year that is on
occasions like New Year and others (Hall 2018). The brilliant fireworks ate made along with
sequences of light and sound show. These light sequences are made by eight hundred and sixty-

I would like to share that I am a very hard worker and also dedicate to my work. I will
also try to ensure that I am taking part not only in my educational activities but also in many
other extra curriculum activities. Therefore I will also show active participation during any
college fest and competition and also would love to be a member of the student's council and an
ambassador to the school. As I have to opt for leave from my company for this further education
course, I believe that when I come back they will trust me and also have faith in my education
and commitment towards my team and consider my leave application for this genuine reason that
is the purpose of future studies. I will, therefore, be able to carry on my studies and also my work
side by side and look for further better opportunities.
