This is a very necessary to conserve the heritage and
cultural sites for future. These are the assets which
gives a brief random development of the human. So
the government have to conserve these sites. But
there may be some conflicts which can be occur in
this conservation process and these are;
Conflict of interest.
Access versus erosion: A tourist want destinations
which have easy access, government have to give
them proper transportation services to reach there.
This is a point which is a potential conflict in the
conservation, most of the historical places are situated
on the mountains and it is not easy to reach out there.
So the government have to play a role in this, they
have to build up proper way with shades and rest
areas. So this is a conflict which is stated as access
versus erosion. Government have to reduce this
difference and make easy way for tourist which
impacts on the tourists also.

Impact of visitors on sites and their immediate
environments: A tourist wants all facilities to reach
out to that particular tourist destination and after it
they wants to proper stay and accommodation in a
near by place of this tourism place. If they does not
found these facilities they have dissatisfaction in their
mind and it is not good any how. Tibet is a region
which is ruled by the Chinese government so they
have to make their proper arrangement for visitors
which cam make a direct impact on their mind and
they feel relax in the environment of Tibet.
Presentation of heritage and culture to visitors:
Packing is a part of presentation so this must be done
in a perfect manner. Management of Jokhang temple
have to make changes in the outer side and they have
to renovate this but they have to not change in the
originality. Buildings have affected by the
environment of the Tibet, so it is necessary to give
them perfect treatment which makes a direct
impression on the visitors.

Planning and land use: Jokhang temple is situated in
a Barkhor old town district so they have less area for
renovation. So management and Chinese government
have to make an effective planning to repair this
monument cause it is having a spiritual significance
in the tourists and Tibetian also. So this may be
conflict issue for the government to make changes
without changing in the old historical design.
Brown field sites versus green field sites: Chinese
government have to make some new accommodation
for their visitors, so they have to make new buildings
and hotel but they have to be made in the traditional
style and it also be attractive. But this is not a easy
task for the government, Tibet is high mountains,
rivers and lakes so there are less area to develop and
most conflict-able factor is that government and
private sector have to done this job and find out
proper solution for it. Intercontinental Hotel Group
wants to built a luxury hotel in the Lhasa so they have
to make their expertise to use land.
Capital costs and revenue generation: This is a
project which is having a large amount in the

investments so government and management staff
have to make their expenses as a capital investments
so they have to generate this by fair tickets price.
Government of China and local bodies may have their
interest in the revenue generation and this may be a
cause of conflict. So they have to make proper sort
out on this topic. China government is having heavy
investment and the revenue is a benefit for them. So
they have to make fair price tickets on these
monuments like Jokhang temple, for foreign visitors.
