Introduction
The medicine department of University of Washington School is planning to implement
Hermes and Hygiea System (HHS). The proposed software will make use of two kind of
artificial tool namely Hermes and Hygiea. The ultimate goal of Hygeia is to act like a pocket
assistant which is mainly treating various kinds of patients (Chang et al., 2015). This tool can be
considered to be beneficial when patient changes his doctor, as it can easily store all the
necessary information.
In the coming pages of the report the importance of the given software has been provided.
After that a brief description has been provided regarding the fact how this software can be used.
Methods
For proper collection of information along with data for the given topic, secondary
method of data collection has been used (Haider & Knightly, 2016). Apart from data collection,
literature review has been also done for proper understanding of concepts of the given software
in health care domain. Secondary data collection method has been used as it is time and cost
effective, ease of use, longitude analysis and sampling. For proper collection of secondary data
various kinds of statistics have been collected from previous researches work done by various
researches on the use of software and artificial intelligence in healthcare sectors. In the coming
pages of the report certain conclusion have been provided from the collected data analysis with
respect to HSS (Hermes and Hygiea System) in hospital.

Cost and benefits
The total cost or price is inclusive of software license, number of users, fee for renewal,
customization, number of features implemented, maintenance and upgradation. There are large
number of benefits of implementing this system like it will overcome the communication gap
between two or many doctors which can result in disastrous kind of consequence for various
patients (Sykes, Venkatesh & Johnson, 2014). This new system will store all the required
information which is stored in the given database and no kind of communication is required with
previous doctor. Hermes will act like data management intelligence and various kinds of
algorithm are set in it so that it can automatically sort all the data as per the given content and
category.
Comparison to a range of various products and services
In comparison to other kind of system this particular system will reduce or minimize any
kind of communication barrier which can easily cause serious kind of damage to patients. In the
new software system, no kind of communication is required with past doctors as the present
doctor will not be able to find the required data which he is looking for the given system
database (Sykes, 2015). This new programing software has been designed in such a way that it
can easily analyze various medical history of the patient in automatic way. Along with it can
auto-list a proper list of medication for the patients to the doctors. The system has been designed
in such a way that it can display the side effects of certain number of medical conditions.
Training and technical implementation
For proper implementation of Hermes and Hygiea System in hospital certain number of
facts should be taken into account like type or kind of training required by staff of this hospital,

number of staff of this hospital who needs to be trained properly. It also tends to focus on certain
amount of content which needs to be created (Hawilo et al., 2014). Apart from this proper kind
of timeline should be provided for various kinds of training programs. Training should begin
along with product planning phase. Training should involve all the various employees from
various department of this hospital. Training should be provided or given out in both the phases
that is before as well as post implementation (Shatat & Dana, 2016). Staff of the hospital should
be trained at regular intervals so that they can keep up with upcoming changes and new kind of
product release related to this HHS (Hermes and Hygiea System).

From the above discussion it can be easily concluded that this report is all about HHS
