Executive Summary:
Strategic information system is use in the business corporate world to make it
flexible and enhance business initiative. This system has different advantages as; it
used to deliver services and products within the given time and lower cost. The silent
feature of the information technology area is strategic information management that
is also refers as SIM. This strategy helps in the organization to develop and deliver
the products and services with allocate, move and store the information. This
strategic information system used to find different opportunities and implement them
in the organization to enhance the process and operations in the organization. The
current assignment is to implement ERP system in the Gracious industry to manage
different factors of the organization.

Introduction:
Gracious industry is an Australian based organization that manufactures and supply
electronics parts and manages supermarkets with hardware stores. Organization has
35 employees and doing work in electronics industry from last 40 years. In this
assignment, it will discuss about the selection and implementation process of
suitable ERP systems to run business efficiently as company also hired an
accountant to manage financial process or the organization. This assignment will
include the business requirement with the business process of Gracious industry
along with system requirements with features of ERP system. The suitable selection
process ERP vendors and vendor selection will also discuss in this report.
Report:
Now these days, most of the organization implements advance technology with
different account software in their system to make flexible process. These
techniques and software ideas improve the productivity in the organization as well as
it used to reduce the cost production and manage different process of the
organization. Use of information system plays critical role in the creation of an
organization with manages different situations of the organization of every industry.
The strategic information system (SIM) is connection between the demands and
supply of the organization with using latest technologies. Growth of the organization
depends of its resources that related to the selected application. Finance,
management and operation are the important part of information system. Operation
strategic system used to implement TPS and system of process control with
enterprise collaboration system. Different factors of the strategic information system
are like, key objective, main approach & task with direction from (Singh, 2015).
ERP is software that used in the process of business management in an
organization. With using this software system, organization can manage different
platforms and integrate with different applications as well technology, human
resource and different services. ERP system works as database of the organization
that is centralized with using different technology as, AI and IoT. ERP is cost saving
for the company systems and enhance the process of a business with its efficiency

and increase business innovation with standardization. Implement suitable ERP
system in the organization that can boost the process of data collection (SAP, 2019).
Business requirements:
Business requirements are also known as requirement of stakeholders with different
characteristics and specifications. The business requirements include different
factors as, products, systems process and software. The requirements are used to
show the process of service delivery with safety features and business requirements.
Business requirement divides into two types as functional and non-functional
requirements. Gracious industries are electronics based organization that provides
different products and services with supply electronics parts to different
organizations. The company needs to increase the production process to fulfill the
customer’s demand. The process of key business for the electronics industry is to
increase the efficiency with production and continue maintain different issues in the
organization with tracking each process. The process also includes installation of
different products with manage all the systems of the buildings. The process of
business starts with product planning and design and production with procurement
are the part of this process. Production phase included the process of sales and
order delivery. Logistics and distribution process are also the part of key process of
business for the electronics industry (Abdallah, 2015).
As the company lost some key amounts due to some reasons as well hires an
accountant to manage its all accounts with check the financial statements of the
organization along with its employees. Gracious industry need to implement
accounting software to manage their business and the accounting business are
known as the ERP systems. Some business factors that should manage by Gracious
Company as its revenue, share in the market, portfolio increment, product feature
with the performance of the devices and components. Increase the capacity and
capability of the stakeholders to manage and access more complexity within the
organization. Increase the iterations-number and reduce the time to deliver the
products with manufacturing and productivity. The process of decision making is also
a risk in the management and it impacts on the quality of service with different
compliance. Implement control system in the organization with control environment
and activities with communication and information. There are some business risks

that occur in most of type businesses as, strategic risk, operational risk, and
compliance risk with financial risk. Each of type risk has different factors find and
analyze with implement to resolve the risk. The risk of compliance and strategic
related to the different activity of the organization with changes of organization or
industry. It is related to the development and research area of the organization. The
risk of operational and financial related to the flow of cash in the organization and it
relates to the customer’s credit in accounts and money issues that used to resolve

Each of the business or industry has some requirements that used to follow to
achieve the goals and objectives of the organization. System, business and user
requirements are some main category of requirement that define to achieve in an
organization. The category of the business requirement includes the statement of the
project with vision and constraints and objectives to enhance the process of
business. Analysis of the different phases along with stakeholder analysis includes in
this requirement. The next category is the user requirement that identifies the user
needs and defines these requirements with the system. For example, a software
developer collects all the requirements from users or clients and then analyses these
requirement. The final category of the business requirement is the system
requirement that include different factors as, accuracy, certification, accessibility,
availability, audit, reporting and control with deployment, documentation, disaster
