Introduction
Research is the study of something and the discovery of the facts about the topic or issue,
research is done according to the intention of the researcher. Research is done for gathering the
information which helps in finding the answers to the questions which the researcher is finding
out. In these 12 weeks, I have learned about the topic "challenges of accounting in the global
market" briefly. I have learned about how to conduct the research, how to design it, what are the
size of the sample. This research will be helpful through all my life.

Week 1
In the first week of research, we had learned about the strategies, nature and the purpose and
process of conducting the research. The brief detail was given by the lecturer how to conduct the
research, significance practice in the research, different types of reasoning in the research and the
features and meaning of the qualitative research with the purpose of the research. I have gained
the knowledge and it directed me to complete my assignment on the topic "challenges of
accounting in the global market". I got the knowledge for long-lasting throughout my life.
Week 2
In this week the planning and the design of the research were discussed, the details were
provided by the lecturer about the methods and design of the research, fundamentals of the
experimental design, longitudinal design, assessing the case study research and managing the
time. The details were provided about how to identify the questions of the research, preparing the
proposal of the research. I had chosen the quantitative research method for finding the challenges
of the accounting in the global market.
Week 3
The main work in this week was to create and write the business research, the main focus is to
understand the meaning of the literature review, techniques of searching the literature approaches
used in literature, books, and articles for referring, instructions for writing the research. I have
learned about the ideas and the relating concepts of my topic “challenges of accounting in the
global market”. I have learned that in the academic writing one must indicate the ideas of others
which are used in the literature review.
Week 4
This week was for the consideration of legal and ethics which are considered in the research of
the business. The details were provided about the issues of ethics which has to follow in the
research, the standards of the ethics were followed without harming any of the participants while
conducting the research. I have learned about the process of collecting the data and the different
elements which are needed while conducting the research.

Week 5
Week five was learning about the nature of qualitative research, observation of the participants,
the detail was given about the characteristics of the qualitative research, different approaches,
concepts of the research, the meaning of the sampling and how to find the size of the sample. I
have learned the tools of ethnographic which are used in qualitative research such as group
discussion, interviews, surveys, observation. The details were provided about the meaning of the
ethnography, the functions of the ethnography and even how to finish the study of ethnographic.
Week 6
In this week the language of the qualitative research was selected, fixing the interviews was
done. The main focus of this week is to prepare the structure of the interview, planning the
model of the interview, making the questions for the interview. I have learned about the focused
group, the size of the focused groups, limitation of the focused group while asking the questions
and the interaction with the group. I have learned about the Conversation Analysis, different
tools of the analysis such as narrative analysis, discourse analysis, and rhetorical analysis.
Week 7
The main focus of this week is to discuss on the concepts of the qualitative data analysis, I have
learned about the theory of the grounded which is the theory of systematic generation and is the
inductive methodology. The details were provided about the phases of the theory, secondary
analysis of qualitative analysis, coding concepts and the measures of accessing the document
quality. I have learned that the coding the very important part of a strategy of the qualitative data
analysis.
Week 8
The task of week eight was to sample the qualitative research, the researched had followed the
meaning of quantitative research, concepts meaning, concepts of indicators and the purpose of
using the indicators. The detail was provided about the typical approaches, concepts of the
probability samples, qualities of the probability samples and the types of probability samples. I
have learned that the establishing the validity is the important process for the quality of
quantitative research.

Week 9
The purpose of this week lecture was to make the structure of the interview and designing the
questionnaire. The focus of this lecture was on the different categories of the interview,
criticisms of the qualitative research, the concept of the interview of the structured and the
difficulties of this interview structure. The detail was provided about the concepts of probability
samples, factors with the effect the size of the sample. I have learned from the mistakes which
are commonly done while preparing the questionnaire for the interview.
Week 10
In this week the observation of the structured and the analysis of the content was discussed, the
focus was on the concepts of structured interviews, the procedure for conducting the structured
interviews, categories of the interview, substitute of the structured interview. I have learned
about the concepts of the observation in the structured interviews, approaches for noticing the
behavior, categories of observation research and the role of questions in the research. I have
learned about the scheduling of coding, pros, and cons of content analysis.
Week 11
The main focus of this week was on the concepts of the secondary analysis, concepts of the
official statistics, advantages and disadvantages of the secondary analysis, difficulties with the
validity, disadvantage of the official statistics, concepts of the data analysis, the concept of
multivariate analysis. I have learned about the statistical significance and learned how to involve
the analysis of research data which has been already collected in the previous studies from the
secondary analysis.
Week 12
This week was about the mixed methods of research, the process of carrying out the research
which includes the examination, collecting the data and integrating the qualitative and
quantitative research. The details were provided by the lecturer about the argument against the
multi-strategy, perspective of the participants and the researcher, features of the processual and
static. This week lecture has helped me in linking the qualitative research and the quantitative
research and also how they can be accessed informing the whole work of the research.

Conclusion
Research is the process of gaining the knowledge about the particular topic and issue, research is
very important in the different fields of the business. The research helped me in finding the
challenges of the accounting and the knowledge of research on the business has helped in
gaining the knowledge of the different factors in the research and the different factors which
affect the business research. The research helped in finding the new business in the market and
help in finding the opportunity for the job creation. From the research, I have received the
knowledge about different parts of the business which help me throughout my life.
