Introduction
The report is presented for the subject topic of the boom in the International studies in
Sydney. This research has been presented in total 12 weeks in which the research topics are
considered and analysed accordingly. The research methods and approaches are used with the
help of research process which makes the report effective. I knew about the importance of
research and about its application in the different areas which may increase the boom to the
education sector in Sydney.
Week 1
This week has been initiated with the provided particulars and assessment requirements by
the lecturer. I have understood the significance of the research, process of conducting this
research and methods of research for further process. This research helped in teaching the
major research practices and knowledge about the research as well as attaining the purpose or
aim of the research. The research provided a clear understanding of the topic and the
provided notes and lecturer samples helped me in understanding the research process and it’s
working.
Week 2
The subject matter of week two is based on the planning and designing of the research. The
process has been initialised and understood with the help of samples and requirements
provided by the lecturer. I knew that appropriate method of designing and forming the
research is required and for that, I selected quantitative research methods. This helps me in
getting the use of social media effectively and evaluating and analysing the different forms of
knowledge available on the topic of international education systems effectively. This week
helps me in understanding the formation and designing of the research report and managing
the different resources.
Week 3
This week is focused on planning the literature review and initialising the writing research
report. In this week, I had focused on the learning about writing the literature review and
what does this mean. The importance and evidence of literature review are understood and
using it to provide information is understood by me in this research report. From the lectures,

I understood that the evidence has to be provided if we use the ideas of other people in our
work.
Week 4
This week is considered to focus on the idea of getting the research an ethical and legal
consideration. I have understood during the lectures that this is required to be pointed in the
research for providing the ethical implication of the research and there is no wrong manner
used in this research. I have understood that this will be written as a declaration to provide
concern towards the respected, protected and no fraudulent participation of the people in this
research report.
Week 5
In this week the nature of the research is to provide the analysis of the qualitative information
and in creating a sampling and participant’s observations. The research provides qualitative
approaches and methods are used in the manner to understand the research topic. The
sampling size was decided. I had known about the qualitative data collection and form which
various tools have been used in this week. The tools selected are interviews, group
discussions, focus groups, and observations etc.
Week 6
The week six was concerned with the conducting of the interviews and meeting with the
focus groups. I have visited for taking an interview for the first time and it was a great
experience. The groups were selected according to the sample size and the interview
questions were asked of them. In this week a proper record of the interview has been
prepared to understand and analyse the people’s opinion.
Week 7
The seventh week was considered to analyse the qualitative data. The qualitative data
collected was analysed under this week with the use of effective theory. The procedure was
followed to maintain the effective and rich source of the data analysis. I have known about
the coding as the key or important process in the qualitative analysis method. This was
considered by me to analyse the qualitative data analysis. The method includes a proper study
of the data collection.

Week 8
In this week a quantitative data collection was initialised and considered by the researcher in
the method to provide the effective study. I have conducted a quantitative data collection with
the different methods and approaches. These were regarding various probability samples, and
types of non-probability sample. The selection of various reliable and valid measures in
important for quality assessments of the research.
Week 9
This week is based on the designing of the questionnaire by consideration of the interviews. I
have learned various designing and preparing methods of the questionnaire in the manner of
providing and interviewing the customers or participants. I have gained knowledge about the
common mistakes in designing the questionnaire which helped in assessing the core errors.
Week 10
The use of structure observation and content analysis is focused in this week. This week helps
me in learning various research concepts related to the structure observations and concept
analysis. Various approaches and methods of structure observation and content analysis help
me in accepting different areas. Some advantages and disadvantages are also learned in this
week.
Week 11
This week is considered in the analysis of statistical data and quantitative data. This has been
achieved with the help of management of different approaches according to the statistical
data. The use of various methods and approaches such as Chi-square test, correlation etc.
Week 12
This week was about to use mix research methods. The mixed methods are considered in this
research for achieving the quantitative and qualitative research. The research methods are
completed in an effective manner by me in this research and I have understood the different
methods to conduct a research.

Conclusion
The investigation and research concept is clear with this to me with the help of this research.
The research methods and approaches are used effectively and help in understanding and
preparing research properly. The topic has been considered for the upgardation of the
education sector of Australia. This research is important and helped in providing the effective
knowledge about the rich education sector of Sydney.
