Reflective report
The key aim of this evaluation is to demonstrate learning of an individual towards their past
leanings. Through this, I increased my leanings about many sections that are associated with the
topic selection, problem definition, research question, and writing of topic approval submission. I
increased my existing knowledge in the context of each step that has been considered in the
report. I also meet my teammates and comprehend the steps that are followed by them in the
study. I also increased my understanding of the search procedure that is used in the literature
review. I also enhanced by understanding many sources which and entailed getting the data to
meet the research study named as articles, books, online, and offline sites. It could be imperative
in getting a reliable outcome (Bell, Bryman, and Harley, 2018).
At the time of summarizing the literature review, I increased by depth information towards the
research matter. I also understood that sometimes I failed to comprehend which information is
more important or which is not. I also observed the research methodology is a section that is used
to select a suitable method in the context of the study dilemma. I gained my knowledge about
sampling methods, data collection, questionnaire design, interpretation, and data analysis. In this,
I increased about two kinds of methods named as primary data collection method that could be
imperative in collecting the information about the research issue (Quinlan, Babin, Carr, and
Griffin, 2019).
The data evaluation is also imperative to examine the gathered information towards the research
issue. I also increased my understanding of quantitative and quantitative evaluation methods
wherein I understood that these tools assist to effectively conduct the research. In this, I also
observed that the research tools could be imperative in getting the depth information towards
study matter by getting depth knowledge towards research skills. It is also observed that the

sampling tool is used by the investigator to select the suitable sample size that is considered in
the study to meet the research (Hair Jr, et. al., 2015).
There are different methods named as a probability as well as non-probability sampling tool
which are practiced to meet the research purpose. I increased my depth understanding about the
non-convince sampling tool that is more suitable as compared to the research matter. I also
increased my knowledge about the inductive and deductive approach which is the research
strategy as it is practiced to get the data towards the study matter. In this, I analyzed that which
method is more effective in the study (Eriksson and Kovalainen, 2015).
I understood that before conducting this study, I was unaware of the team building and
communication skills that I improved after this project. I also improved my research as well as
some personal skills that are effective to make a relationship with others as it could interpersonal,
empathy skills, communication, and feeling to comprehend the feelings of others. It is also
evaluated that such skills could also lead to getting positive research results. Thus, it is also
founded that the research methodology is vital to meet the study purpose (Meyer and Peng,
2016).
Throughout lecture 1, I have developed my research experience regarding the nature, process,
and strategy of business research. In this way, I have learned about the process of business
research. These are a literature review, concepts and theories, research questions, sampling, data
collection, data analysis, and writing up. I have gained insights regarding the features of
quantitative investigation. These are a measurement of social variables, common research
designs, statistical data, deductive theory, and positivist epistemology. I have also experienced
synergies during research as all team members have coordinated that helps me to complete the
activities (Easterby-et. al., 2015).

From lecture 2, I have developed my knowledge regarding research design and planning the
research process. In this way, I have learned that there is a different research design that could be
applied by me in conducting research. These research designs are experimental and related
designs, cross-sectional design, longitudinal design, case study design, and comparative design.
I have also developed my understanding regarding types of validity. These are measurement
validity, internal validity, external validity, and ecological validity. In this way, I have learned
that measurement validity is implemented in a quantitative investigation and to search for
measures related to social scientific aspects. I have gained insights that internal validity is
concerned with questions of whether a conclusion incorporates casual association between two
or more variables hold water (Sekaran and Bougie, 2016).
From lecture 4, I have improved my research experience regarding ethics and legal consideration
in business research. In this way, I have learned that there is some potential harm that can affect
the respondents. These harms are damage to self-esteem, physical, stress, damage to career
prospects, and break confidentiality. Due to this, I have faced challenges to timely meet the
research. In the teamwork, I have contributed to keeping informed consent and sign to
confidentiality agreements (Myers, 2019).
This lecture has also developed my understanding regarding the 1998 Data Protection Act. In
this way, I have learned that personal data must be obtained for one specified and lawful
intentions. Due to inadequate guidance regarding marginal areas of investigation, I have faced
difficulties in research (Easterby-et. al., 2015).
In this research project, I personally wrote the research methodology part because I have a depth
understanding of it. Throughout this experience, I have learned that primary data collection is
collected from the survey through questionnaire. Along with this, I observed that this data
