INTRODUCTION
The report aims to analyse the need for skills in order to be a high education learner.
Higher education is a field in which an individual needs to come up with many ideas and
perform activities and task to achieve good grades. It shows that, how an individual could be able
to enhance, improve and use their skills to face many university challenges. The student has to be
aware about employability skills and how they can develop it (Monteiro, and Leite, 2021). It
comprises all those skills which a learner will use in future to secure its career aims and
objectives. Therefore, the report is going to present some set of skills which is required for the
HR learners and how it can be improved.

Higher education skills
The higher education skills is required within an individual in order to face many life
challenging activities. Higher studies is the third level of education after the schooling period. At
this level, the students come up by attaining basic knowledge and information in order to seek
professional development. In today's era, companies require professional graduated individuals
who have attend great positions and grades in their higher studies. It shows that, these
individuals has capabilities and skills of communication, leadership, research and decisions
making. The higher education students are confident and intellectual personality who could
communicate with others and maintain great relationship. Many students looks for their future
development in which they tend to analyse own strength and capabilities to achieve set targets
and improve where they lacks (Suleman, 2018). Higher education skills is important to
acknowledged all those activities and task which is going to face in future whether doing
business or working on the job. Therefore, these skills makes a learner confident and stick to
their gaols. It helps in gaining success and makes own performance better. In the future
workplace, when there is high necessity to work at the complex situations, there is requirement
of many skills to present own self confidently. Success could only comes to those who believes
in learning new concepts and focus on improving own weakness. These skills includes
communication, leadership, research, time management, meeting deadlines and decision making.
All these skills are necessary to gain in higher education as this is the peak time when an

individual could work on self development for professional as well. At this level, the students are
able to gain knowledge and start applying it on practical situations.
Reflect on own skills
By being a part of higher education in university, there are a lot of skills which have
identified and developed within me. The skills set provided me basic to advance knowledge
which will help me in both current and future development. In own experience while learning in
the university, there were a lot of programmes, sessions and learning scenarios take place which
helps in learning essential skills like communicating effective, high order thinking skills,
leadership and research. The key skills learned during the higher education is described below:
Communication: It is one of the best and required skill in every individual.
Communication plays key role in presenting own ideas and perception in front of others. Good
communication skills makes me confident to speak fear free in front of others. I have learned
these skills In my higher education phase (Tang, 2020). The universities conducts many sessions
and debates, speeches which gives opportunity to say own words and presents thoughts on a
particular topic. Hence, I have learned this skill which will helps me to present myself
confidently and my future workplace during meetings and one-to-one discussions.
Research: This skill is also vital for working in an organisation. University give many
projects and assessments to the students to develop research skills appropriately. In business
area, research is important to analyse current trends and issues in market (Sousa, 2018).
Therefore, by completing many assessments and group projects, I have learned good research
methods and conduct analysis which will help me In future at any job role.
Management: This skill is play major role in the life of an individual as everything must
be is systematic manner. For that instance, management is crucial to work with right structure
and path to achieve goals and objectives. Therefore, I have learned this skill through being
involved in group presentation, performances and function at university. I have learned some
important concept of management like dividing work as per specialisation, prepare plans and
organise resources. This skill will help me management my workplace and be a responsible and
inspirational personality at my job role.
Problem solving: This skill is required to analyse the problems in varied complex
situations. This skill is highly necessary to provide own recommendation and helps in getting rid
of various complex crises comes during business practices (Ghafar, 2020). At the time of taking

higher education, I have to do many presentation in group in which we faced many problems like
low motivation and coordination. So I learned to be calm and drive solution for the problem.
CONCLUSION
The report has concluded that, higher education skill is important for developing future
personal development. It focus on gaining a lot of preferences in taking rise on the positions and
create market development. Learning own skills and working on improvising is necessary to be
confident about own job role and give best efforts in showcasing self dedication and hard work.
