Presenting the problem
Covid-19 affect the entire business in negative manner especially education sector. UK is
considered a global education hub, but due to pandemic most of the students are affected and
hopes crashing in order to get entrance within UK universities. Apart from this, majority of the
businesses shut down and most of the individuals loss their jobs which includes teachers as well
(Crawford and et.al., 2020). Therefore, the problem of this study is to examine how the higher
education sector affected and identify the scope of future higher education where economies are
recovering and reopening from Covid-19. In this, students are affected the most because they
loss almost an year, as entire learning is depend upon online and this somehow cause adverse
impact upon their physical and mental fitness. On the other side, having enough technology
support universities to continue their operations and provide safer environment to both staff and
students. But most of the students get privilege from the same that affect their learning in
opposite way. By considering the problem i.e. to examine the scope of future Higher education,
University of Lackshire must develop strategies in order to provide better education to the
students so that it help to shape up their future lives and education system as well.
In 2020 the pandemic shut down majority of businesses and students hopes were
crashing, to overcome such there is a need to examine the scope of future higher education,
otherwise the situation will not be normal again. As a result, staff as well as students got affected
in adverse manner which includes students will have to stay homes and they are not able to meet
their career. Hence, to overcome from such situation, UCLan university designed a better plan of
future higher education that benefited students and further community as well.
Magnitude of problem
The importance of problem is to identify the ways through which UCLan improve its
high education system from Covid-19. The pandemic cause national lockdown and that is why,
Universities being shut down. So to cope up with this, Universities decided to digitalize the
sector so that studies of students do not affected, but many students use this opportunity in
negative way that affect their leaning too (Ahlburg, 2020). Hence, UCLan can set out the case
for change and tries to provide better outcomes by maintaining the quality and scope of future
higher education after Covid-19. Through this, University identify the range of strategies in
order to improve the higher education system and provoke their students so that it increase their

It has been analyzed that majority of the University adopt online learning during
pandemic but as the time passed, students are more concern about their studies because their
engagement decreases. Also, due to entire world lock down, students are not able to get
admission in top University that directly affect their future performance. Though online learning
is considered as an opportunity for higher education system but this increase the access to
internet and as a result, students do not concentrate on their studies. That is why, there is a need
to identify the scope of future higher education as it is directly affected from Covid-19.
Consequences of a business
By identifying the scope of a future higher education, UCLan adopt the same strategies
within its premises so that they provide better and good quality of learning to their students. This
in turn provide an opportunities to all students in order to enhance their learning. As, pandemic
affect entire education system and physical life of student in opposite manner. So university are
focused to provide only online learning to their students in future so that they will become
healthy and safe in future (Choi and et.al., 2020). Also, stakeholders must take a decision to
solve the issues timely, otherwise student's learning and career will affected adversely. For that,
new learning management can be introduced in order to strengthen the learning among students.
This in turn provide potential to grow at very fast pace, along with improving the quality of
learning as well.
In addition to this, by developing such strategies into business will help to get the
business again on track. As compared to 2020, most of the universities open by complying with
guidelines but in upcoming years, UCLan also tries to adopt different strategies in order to
improve the learning among students and also attract other individuals as well. Thus, University
is planning on maintaining the quality and scope of future higher education so that student learn
and attain their defined goals as well.
