A Research Project on the Impact of Pandemic on Higher Education

This research project explores the impact of the pandemic on higher education, focusing on changes in student interaction, the benefits of virtual learning environments, and the challenges of digital education. The research aims to investigate the impact of the pandemic on college students, using a case study approach at Nelson College. It addresses research questions related to changes in student interaction, the benefits of virtual learning, challenges in digital education, and ways to improve education in a virtual setting. The study acknowledges limitations such as time constraints and the need for timely completion of project activities. The literature review examines classroom interaction during the pandemic and barriers in delivering effective digital education. The research methodology employs a positivism research philosophy. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of a clear research methodology, the effectiveness of literature review, and the consideration of alternative research methods for improving research outcomes. The project also highlights the use of Gantt charts and work breakdown structures to support timely completion of research activities.

INTRODUCTION
• This presentation focuses on the research project about the changes in higher education because of
pandemic. This investigation is completed by using appropriate methodologies with justification and
analytical tools are used to effectively communicate the research findings. In addition to this a reflective
statement covering effectiveness of the research alternate research methodologies and recommendations
is also included.

investigation and reaching reliable outcome which limits the
research project.

manner in order to deliver research outcome by the given

classroom interaction is the cornerstone for successful online
learning. Social interaction in online learning is effective as it
increases student engagements and improve their motivation to
actively participate in online classes.

• As per the views of Gutte (2021), one of the primary
challenges of online educational environments is increasing student
motivation. The digital education environment creates a lack of
interpersonal touch between students and teachers along with
reduced interaction between students and their peers, which
reduces the motivation of students to attend class and increase their
educational participation.

CONCLUSION
• From the above study, it is concluded that it is important to construct a clear research methodology for
completing the research in a timely manner. Utilizing literature review is effective for completing a research
because it helps underpins the main idea of the research and helps reduce the research outcome. It is also
important to consider alternative research methods as it can be used for improving their research
methodology. Primary research is suitable for completing the research in Italy manner because it has gained
relevant data from direct sources quickly and in a cost effective manner. Research tools such as Gantt chart
and work breakdown, search for support, timely completion of the research as they help in completing large
objectives of the investigation by breaking down into smaller tasks and supporting scheduled completion of
various activities.
