INTRODUCTION
Higher education is defined as a post secondary education which is a final level of all
learning which gets completed after secondary education. This education is provided by colleges,
universities and through seminars also. Higher education involve many things like doing
research, teaching as well as social services also. There are four things are which are involved in
high education like masters, professionals, bachelors of arts as well as science and doctorates
also. In terms of department of higher education they are mainly responsible for whole
development of infrastructure both in context with planning and policy(Lee, 2021). A individual
can reach to the stage of higher education only after completing their secondary education and
the age at which higher education gets started is 18 years. The below report involves skills and
importance to high education learners in terms of their performance and success, tools to
determine thinking, learning, traits and team roles to analyse personal profile, reflective practice
to assess personal skills, skills gaps and high level skills(Faro and et.al, 2021).

performance and success factors
There are various type of skills which are required during higher education in order to
achieve success and it is been explained as below:- Communicate with empathy:- Every person has their own kind of strengths as well as
weaknesses. So, in context with higher education management staff should have the skill
of solving problems and communicate about it in a clear manner. They must
communicate clearly so that students also feel challenged to learn and at the same time
management should listen to their students also and provide them support whenever
needed(Selwyn and Renaud-Assemat, 2020). Team work :- To have a good relationship among whole department team work is the
most necessary thing. If any decision is to be taken then everyone should get involved in
such activities so that team work can get established. With the help of team work only
communication will get more developed.
Problem solving:- As an administrator this skill is very important. Students can face
many problems so management should have the ability of solving such problems. So, all

As per above higher education skills I analysed that I has a skill of team work through which I
maintained good relationship among everyone. Each student was getting developed because
everyone was taking part each activity. I assessed that by having a quality of team work I build
up a effective management structure(Sterritt, 2020).
Importance:-
As per above skills it also creates and importance in higher education both in terms of
performance as well as success and it is been explained as below:- Better communication:- While having a skill of communicating with empathy it is
important for higher education learners also because to generate a effective performance
and achieve success it is important to build up better communication also. As education
area, professional career will get developed(Engelbertink and et.al, 2021).
Realisation of passions:- By having a skill of team work students become more
passionate towards their career because they learn from other people also as their
strengths got developed so they enhance their professional career.
By analysing above skills and importance I determined that I was passionate towards my career
because I have followed the skill of team work which was important for my performance and
with the help of that I can achieve success.

By determining certain elements the use of belbin theory is been used which is been
explained as below:-
Belbin's team roles:- In context with preferred team roles each team member has their
own responsibilities and they perform it efficiently. There are nine roles that are been
involved in this theory like plants, resource investigators, co-ordinators and many more.
In terms of higher education effective team roles are important because management of
education can't be tackled only be single individual(Littrell, Fugelsang and Risko, 2020).
According to my personal profile I analysed that team roles are important and I
implemented it in order to give specific role and responsibilities to each member whether
towards their work.
As per above higher education skills I analysed that I has a skill of team work through which I

I was a visual learner and a company worker and it was all because of my skills. As per
my profile I had good communication skills and was passionate towards my work and

From the above report it has been analysed that my personal skills got developed because
I followed a good communication skills and proper team work in order to solve all problems. In
terms of higher education there are many problems that may occur at any point of time which
can be faced by students as well as management staff also. In a university or any other place
there may be many skill gaps which basically means that there is a mismatch between all people
with respect to skills so I learned that while having high education skills should be efficiently
developed so that no problems get occurred in education.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is been concluded that in higher education proper skills are
required whether it is of students or management staff. To achieve success it is necessary to first
develop own skills and through that improve performance. It is important to motivate each
individual so that they always receive a positive impact on their perspective of education.
so as per that team roles were important.
