INTRODUCTION
In present time, studying at the University helps an individual to perform well in the near
future whether it is a business, job or any other activities. Main purpose of studying in University
has personal to develop his or her skills like communication, oral and writing in much effective
and efficient manner (Nilson, 2013). The following essay is going to include importance of
studying degree in a University, core skills which could be developed and lastly, a study plan is
developed which will help in developing skills like paraphrasing, learning styles and many more.
MAIN BODY
It is analyzed that there are ample number of reasons for college education like for
students, learning degrees may enable them in grabbing various job opportunities as well as
business conducting abilities (Lai, Shum and Tian, 2016). Another reason behind learning degree
in a University could help in enhancing the skills on developing the skills which are not present
within individual. Along with this, both private and government jobs are also been offered by the
government and business people to the individual that has finished the bachelor degree. Another
reason which was been found is that an individual for has completed a bachelor degree can take
admission among different range of post graduation programs. With the help of this, an
individual may become successful in the future (Purpura, Schmitt and Ganley, 2017). In present
time, there are many learning styles like visual, read and write, auditory and kinaesthetic which
are being utilised by students while completing a degree within the university. Another reason
behind learning a degree in the university is it helps an individual in enhancing the overall
awareness along with the confidence which helps them in sustaining at a good place performing
a job for doing for conducting business operations in upcoming future (Mah, 2016).
It has been found that college education has directly increased the confidence level in
students. It is because students get freedom from the daily disciplined environment of the school
(Saltman, 2012). On the other hand, it can be said that for an individual it is very important to
have discipline in school life for students that help them to complete the school education with
good marks. But in college, the rules are not as strict as found in the school such as wearing the
same coloured or 1-2 dress for years. This helps them in taking decisions for them due to the
freedom and this aids them in becoming much more successful decision takers for their own life.

changing the meaning of it. It is vital because an individual cannot have knowledge just like the

the assumption that the person is weak within the paraphrasing, communication and note taking
skills (Znazen and et. al., 2017). In present context, individual is going to focus upon enhancing
all the three skills from communication command note taking and paraphrasing skills. Small but
detailed study plan consists of one long term goal and two short term goals for student which is
