Being a student in higher education will place the student in a whole new situation where
they have to modify their behaviour and become more serious towards their career. The level of
academic got increase in higher education which demands seriousness, skills and attributes to
enhance their capabilities to grab the topics thoroughly. Student has to change their lifestyles at
the time of getting the higher education, its an important and crucial phase for the students which
decide their career in future. Studying for higher education require some skills, smart learnings
which can be said as tricks and a systematic schedule of studying. Student has to become the all
rounder in this stage of their lives where they have to face their own difficulties and always have
a tension in their mind about their future. While pursuing higher education student should focus
on their studies only because that will be the time of their lives where they do specialisation in
particular field and become of master of particular subject (Bogatskaia, Savela, and Yarovaya,
2020). Higher education plays an important role in every student life, it decides their career and
also develop their personalities. There are some main areas of higher education which student
has to cover and apply it in their schedule like; they have to known the value of time (Time
Management), they have to develop study skills, have to improve conversation skills and mainly
they have to develop the presentation skill which are necessary in getting the higher education.

placement or job. Its a process to build the CV and that process would get start at the time getting
education in colleges or in universities. Curriculum Vitae is set of certain documents or the it can
be said that CV is the collection of all the achievements made by the students. Students has to
maintain and develop their CV time to time as its the only document which any organization,
company demands at the time of interview (Caughie, 2018). In CV students has to show all their
areas interest, their strength and weaknesses, background, certificate courses if any, qualification
etc. apart from all these there is one important information which have to mention by the
students in their CV is the work experience, as much the student has the experience as per that
they would get considered for job. In a situation where there is no experience mentioned by the
students or they don't had any experience regarding job then they have to mention their personal
skills which makes their CV attractive. Upgrade their skills is the best way to make their CV job
oriented and effective. If there is no past experiences to mention in CV, students has to work on
their skills which they can mention in their CV. At the time of COVID along with the financial
institution, educational institution was also affected badly, as the students cant get the
opportunities to take the classes but that situation vary from person to person. When the COVID
becomes the barrier for some students as their schedule got disturbed and they were not able to
improve their skills at home, on the other hands some students use that barrier situation as an
opportunity. They took the online classes and completed various online courses which they can
add in their CV. Those certificate courses build the positive image of the students when they
present their CV in interviews for getting jobs. Nowadays there is a trend in education line also
to do enormous programs through online mode in different fields, even the counseling is get
done through internet where students get the knowledge about their higher education programs.
There are also the options of internship for the students who take the admission in a institution
for higher education. There they can learn about tactics of carer developing and get the practical
knowledge about what they study in their institution (Lim, 2018). These platforms provide
assistance to the students to build their career by providing the assistance in making their
Curriculum Vitae more vulnerable. By getting the authentic information from the counselor they
got some professional understanding through which students choose the right path for their

CV plays an important role in every students life, it is the extract of what student did in

recruiter about their abilities, on that basis the recruiters make their mind about student that
whether he will provide growth to the company or not. I have some strong as well as the weak
point in my CV, my strong point which I mention is my ability to listen the task or any
information carefully. This is the basic but if we show this in our CV as our behavior it will
attain the attention of recruiters, but also I have some weak point in my CV which I mention it in
my abilities i.e. multitasking. For getting attention and to impress the recruiters student uses such
phrase which will give second thought in their mind about recruiting. All the organizations have
their own concepts and methods of recruiting and also have different requirement for their
organization operations (Lipton, 2022). Multitasking is not the requirement of every renowned
organization some needed the specialization in any particular field like marketing, selling,
accounting etc.

Students get better experience about the particular subjects in which they show their
interest in some universities. From there they will learn some transferable skills, these are the
skills which person can use in every jobs, it can be said that these skills are the basic demand for
every organisation. Employers desire to get such employee's who have transferable skills in them
because that skills become assistance for them to go beyond their job description. These are the
skills through which an employee by using their existing transferable in some new challenges
show themselves adaptable and versatile, its not an easy task to switch the role and perform some
other task which needed some different skills. Students learn these skills at the time of studying
and that will be first place where they get the knowledge about transferable skills. One of the
most common skill which should be find in others, is the communication skill (Macfarlane,
2020). This the skill which helps the students in their academics and at workplace it assist the
employee's to complete their task on time. Communication is the medium through which one
person able to share their thoughts and experiences and through communication only students get

their solutions while communicate with their lecturers and through communication only
employee's express their thoughts and ides to their leaders for making the workplace better.
Communication skill is the basic requirement to done any work successfully whether it is
studying or doing work. It also improve the personality and provide personal growth to a person,
through communication only person can be get judge about their education and qualification.
Communication consist of two things i.e. listening and speaking both these activities completes
the communication between two persons or more. Through communication person express their
emotions and can provide their views on particular task or topic. In universities or in institutions
student can build their habits of doing better communication and learn the great skills of
communication. In universities where aspirants took the admission for higher studies even there
transferable skill get taught. Students able to learn the values of words while communicating
because through words only they share their thoughts and also able to convey the answer to the
lecturer. As much the listening is very crucial in communication to give accurate reply of asked
question in the same way speaking is very important. Students learn to choose their word
precisely so that they communicate the real and accurate answer. Communication is the first and
important step in the case of organisation operations where employer communicate the task and
the way to perform it, at that time employee's have to use their skill which they learned from
their academics and perform the task according to the prescribe methods (Medeiros, Ramalho,
and Falcão, 2018).
Another skill which student develop at the time of their academic sessions is the management, it
is much more important than performing or assigning task. Its make the person sure about the
given task, it is the skill which every student learn easily through their lectures. Management
plays the crucial role in everyone's life and specially in the life of student where they learning the
ways to mange time for their studies. In every institution they got the task or assignments which
they have to complete along with their studies, such situations gives them an understanding
about using the time and also build another skill i.e. to give priority to those work which are
important and also takes time to perform. The skill of management is mainly use to organise and
control the functioning of an organisation as there are many employee's in an organisation who
have to get controlled, assigned the task, supervise performance and many more these are the
activities which require management in every organisation. It is highly recommended at

workplace where employee's have to get manage and also received the assigned task to perform,
at that time it is required to use the management skills for performing the operations smoothly.
The another skill which student got from their institution at the time of getting education is
“project management”, it is the skill which helps the person to understand the task and manage
it from start to finish. This skills able the students to submit their task on time and planned
according to that. Students received the deadlined at the mean time when project got assigned to
them, they have to plan according to the task and try to execute it to complete it in a given time
(Nicolescu, and Nicolescu, 2019). This skill provides the abilities in a students to understand the
value of time and at the same time they have to maintain the quality in their assignments. The
same skill of project management is very helpful at organisation's workplace, after getting the
task employees have to perform the task according to the plan they made for that particular
project. Each and every task require plan and the method which helps them to perform the task
effectively and efficiently. To adapt such skill students have to give attention in their lectures
which tells about the importance of project or task and also of completing it in the said time.
Creativity is needed in every work and also in studying, the old concepts of studying is no more
useful as it was slow and not creative. Students in these times uses different approaches to learn
the topics, apply different methods to get remember the learned topics. Creativity not always
means to draw or painting something, its all about the approaches and methods which person
choose to solve problems. In universities students learn different types of creativity through
which they completed the task on time and also make it attractive so that their master or teacher
like their presentation (Paudel, 2021). In students there should be some kind of creativeness
which makes them different from other students, even in these days recruiter of every company
wants some kind of creative skill in a student which they can use in their organisation and makes
their organisation operations more effective and efficient. Student adapt this skill from their
institutions, they got the task and assignments which force them to think out of the box, that
thinking will bring creativity in their mind and also in their actions. By applying some creative
skill in their given assignment and projects they made it different and more effective from others
who did it with normal efforts. The same skill of creativeness is also helpful at workplace of
every organisation, employer need such employees at workplace who have some different and
creative mindset who put their efforts smartly in task and also try to completed the task with less
hard work and by applying more creative work. In an organisation human resources is the

department which has the responsibilities of providing and building some creative skill in the
nature of employee's which helps them to show that creativity at workplace. The Human
Resource management has a department which tells techniques to the employee's about using the
machinery, using the resources effective and also provides them some method which helps them
see things differently and find out the creative ways to solve the problems (Pugsley, 2018).
The most important skill which students can learn in their institutions is the team work,
through adapting such skills in their behaviour people can working together which gives them
motivation and also confidence to achieve the common targets. In universities students got the
assignments, projects and presentation which they have to prepare in a group, such kind of group
task helps the students to make strong and fiduciary bond with the employee's. Eventually
working in a team gives better ideas and thoughts in regard to complete the assignments and
task. Team work is the skill if it got develop in the employee's of any organisation they become
habitual to completed the task with the efforts of their team members. In every organisation not a
single employee can perform the whole task, because the operations of an organisations are big
and typical which require some support and suggestion. At that time at the workplace they use
that skill, initially they discuss the task with all the team members and after that allocate the
different part of task to different members of team. That distribution makes the employee's
bound to complete their part of task perfectly which makes the whole task effective and efficient.
Students have the desire to become entrepreneur and to fulfil that dream they took the admission
in renowned universities. Its the best place where students can build the leadership nature in
their behaviour, its one of the most important transferable skill which every student have to build
in their behaviour. Such skill gives ability in an individual through which they will be able to
take the position of leading the team (Succi, and Canovi, 2020). At the time of doing assignment
as a team students got their leader who helps them in their difficult situation who will be the
senior and most knowledgable student among all team members. In the same way leadership is
the skill up on which all the functioning of an organisations are dependant. Almost every
organisation's has their own style of leadership which they use to makes their organisation
operations smooth like there are directive style of leadership. The reason to use such leadership
style is to show the path to all the employee's so that they can perform their activities through
that method or concepts which dictate by the leader. Leadership has the great effect on
organisation success, it makes the employee's motivated and provides courage to them which

helps them to do the organisational task more effectively that helps them to achieve the set
targets of an organisation.
