Time management is defined as a process in which organizing and planning of activities
as per according to specified time period is being done. With the help of effective time
management individual can able to work smarter-not harder (Lai, Shum and Tian, 2016). In
addition with this time management enable to done more in less time period even when there is
high pressure. Main aim of current essay report is related to determine formative relationship in
between time management skills and academic achievement for students. Time management acts
as one of the most important element that actually affect individual overall performance and
achievements. Apart from that present report include benefits of effective time management
along with obstacles that pertain to effective time management.
MAIN BODY
It has been seen that in order to in order to tying to read all chapters and books assigned
and further meet deadlines and participate in extracurricular activities students could not be able
to perform their work adequately. In addition with this, it has also been determined that those
students who hold-part time and full time jobs could not be able yo able to attend school. Thus, it
is essential for them to effectively undertake proper time management as to manage all activities
in perfect time frame. As ineffective form of time management lead towards stress and poor
academia performance.
Time management is related to making best effective use of available time. With the help
of proper management of time individuals can effectively able to perform right things at right
time. Time management play pivotal role in a student life as with the help of this they can
effectively able to manage their extracurricular activities, academic performance and job. There
are numerous set of benefits of time management (Saltman, 2012). Some of that include, time
management makes an individual disciplined and punctual, students become more organized
because of effective time management, effective time management lead towards managing
individual confident and morale with the help which goals and objectives can be managed within
short span of time. Thus, it has been analysed that with the help of managing time students can
effectively able to prioritize each and every tasks and activities in perfect time frame. In addition
with this, it will enable students to perform their every essential activity within perfect
framework of time without feeling overburdened.

Time is limited no matter how a person slice it there are only 24 hours in a day. Thus, in
order to acknowledge high ranks it is essential to find a way to manage it in limited time period.
As if students learn to make control on time they can effectively able to improve their ability to
focus. In addition with this, it helps in increasing efficiency of work. Along with this with the
help of good time management skills students can able to make better decision making that lead
towards eliminating pressure. It simultaneously lead towards making an increase in efficiency of
academic skills. Mentioned below there are short term and long range goals, listed below:

and achievable targets and do not overburden self. Lastly, it is essential

interruptions, dealing with lateness, distractions overburden of work and more. In addition with
this, it has been determined that poor planning acts as an one of the major challenge that affect
student academic and personal life. Apart from that, time management issues also increase due to
lack of foresight in this students mainly spend their time on non-essential activities. Further it has
been identified that most common barriers of effective time management is lack of clear goals
and direction of students. Thus, it is essential for students to learn to track their time and
formulate intelligent plan of action (Murphy and Johnson, 2016). It has been analysed that
students face too many task on their schedule that are required by them to complete in perfect
time frame and negligence of any activity may lead towards their academic as well as personal
loss. Thus, it is essential for them to take advantage of time management techniques such as
undertaking use of calender, use checklist, perform work while focusing on one task at hand and
more. Thus, with the help of this students can effectively able to manage their activities while
prioritizing them as per according to perfect time frame.
