Evaluating Higher Education Growth Trends in the UK: A Study

EVALUATION

INTRODUCTION
 It has been identified that in 2017-2018 the number of higher institution in
the UK that returned data to the high education statistics agency.
 Presentation is base on the statistics of student which studying higher
education in UK.
 Further slides will be cover about the topic and relevant data and statistical
information on the selected topic. Aim of the research is to examine the data
for the growth in the number of students in higher education in the UK.
 Present study is outline the information with the help of gathering data from
secondary resources like journal, articles internet.

Sampling Methods
• Sampling can be defined as a process of selecting a sample members
from a huge population.
• It is most common process which is used in statistical analysis in
order to predetermine number of observation which are taken from
the larger population.
• In order to collect data for this topic 5 articles where taken which
formed the sample size and from which secondary data was collected.
• This can help in proper analysis as well as interaction of the research
which will increase the quality of the research.

Rationale
 Higher education in the United Kingdom has a long history. Along with it
majorly describes the statistical data of the student which currently studying
in UK.
 The main reason to conduct this study is to regulate and examine the high
education and protect the quality and reputation of higher education and
growth.
 This topic is also very essential from the wider range of external
requirements that either regulate institution teaching and research activities
or place requirements on them as bodies that regulate in the wider manner.
 Another main reason of this study is to analyse the importance of higher
education in the development of skills, creativity and research well-
developed higher education.

• In UK study normally enters in higher education as an under-graduate form 18 years of
age and student can study wide variety of academic and vocational qualifications.
• It also includes the certificates of higher education as well as higher national
certificates.
• There has been increase in number of higher education students in UK there are more
than 164 higher education institutions in UK and number of students are increasing day
by day.
• In UK higher education is going under a significant change and this change is being
driven by various factors like social factors, cultural factors, technological, political and
economic factors.
• These are the factors which have an affect on every aspect of university provision and
the environment in which universities operates.

CONCLUSION
 It has been found from the above slides that how much growth has been
increased in UK from past few years.
 Presentation identified the factors effecting higher education growth in UK and
also identified the various aspect perspective of student towards the higher
education system.
 In order to analyse data study also taken sampling process of selecting a
sample from huge population.
 Study has been used different statistical data and results from five articles.
