INTRODUCTION
The success or failure of any organisation is depend upon the number of labour that how
they are performing their duties. In organisation the employees have to share an best rapport with
others to accomplish with the goals of company (Ahmad and Shahzad, 2011). At work place,
individual is sharing there relationship with their collogues. They all are trying to maintaining a
good relation with all. It is their responsibility to create a healthy relationship with other in order
to provide best quality of services to customers. Employees are important for the organisation,
because none of business can run with out them. For achieving best results then the organisation
have to make sturdy relation with employees. But now the employee relation has been replaced
with the industrial relation.
The present report is based in Hilton hotel, who provides full-services in hotel and resort.
This hotel is the flagship brand of Hilton. In present report, unitary and pluralistic frames has
been explained. Different procedure has been explained that how the organisation can deal with
different conflict situation. Further the role of negotiation of collective bargaining has been
explained and their impact on the organisation.
TASK 1
1.1 Unitary and pluralistic frames
The terms unitary frame show that what is the way of thinking of the organisation
towards their employees. The unitary relation tells about the assumption of the managers, values,
attitudes which is related with the organisation. In Hilton hotel the manager have to properly
make coordination with the employees. In organisation there are many people who are creating
trouble for the employees such as restrictive practices, rules and regulation of company. In cited
hotel each and every employee have to work in coordination for achieving the goals of business
entity (Avey and et. al., 2010). The unitary perspective are based on the statement which has
been given by the manage to their employees.
The manager have to share the goals, vision, mission of the firm in clear manner. With
the help of this perspective, the manager can easily find out the expression while implementing
the mission statement. It will help to hotel in measuring their actual performance with the
standard. It is responsibility of employees that they have to be loyal with their work. This

In pluralistic frame, it is perceived with the to make organisation powerful. In this the
manager divides the member into sub-group and each of them are having responsibility to
perform their duties in proper manner. They have to set their own objectives and leaders in order
to accomplish with targets of organisation (Cai, Jo and Pan, 2011). The name of two group are
trade union and management. With the help of sub groups the managers and employees can
easily direct coordinate with others. The management will ensure about needs of employee ate
different stage.
In Hilton hotel unitary frame is used by the business entity in order to understand the
thinking of employees towards their work. For cited company it is is essential because with the
help of this the employees will become more comfortable with the working as a single unit of
organisation.
1.2 Changes in trade unionism which affected on employee relation
There are many alteration in trade unionism which directly effect on the employee
relation. This union has been considered as the workers of society in which they are working
together for safeguarding and promoting the interest of people. If there is any changes in rules
and regulations then these are the natural part which gives opportunity to organisation to make
better condition at work place. In organisation the trade union mainly works for the to get the
right of employee to attain the goals of company (Chand, 2010). With the help of trade union the
employees will get their rights and benefit from the management. Sometimes Hilton hotel ask for
the help of trade union in order to provide proper duties and responsibilities of employees.
Variation in trade unionism are taking place when there is changes in the macro factors. These
changes should be properly managed by the people in order to make healthy environment at
work place. The impact of change in trade unionism on the employer and employee are as

the proper procedures in which they can resolve the conflicts between the employees (Dreyer,
Hauschild and Schierbeck, 2010). It means that the sources by which the conflict arises can be
identified. The identification of problem company the manager can take proper decisions and
make strategies. It can be the solution of the conflict and the after effects it can generate.
Looking Beyond in the Organization:- It means that by looking beyond we can analyse
the problem. Analysis phase includes looking at the after effects of the problem , the solution of
the problem, the relevant alternatives that can be adopted and the ways or techniques through
which it can be removed.
Generating Solution:- It include generating solution that can be suitable for the
employees and Hilton hotel (Frone and Trinidad, 2012). The solution can be related to salary,
working structure, time or work or responsibility provided to the employees.
