INTRODUCTION
Internal environment comprises the firms, events and different elements within the
organization that effects choices and actions. It discloses strengths and weakness founds within
the firm. Internal environment involves employees behaviour, company culture, mission
statement and leadership style (Kuratko, Hornsby and Covin, 2014). This study is based on
Hilton Baku Hotel. It is situated in heart of Baku's business district form Heydar Aliyev
International Airport. This report will explain identify strength and weakness of organization. It
will explain vision and mission statement, values and action of management within company.
Furthermore, study will identify competence at all level of personnel and organizational structure
within the firm.
MAIN BODY
Identify strengths and weakness of organization
Strengths:
The experience is very extensive and large scope of business of Hilton Baku Hotel that is
strengths of business. They utilise effective schemes for customer retention and powerful
property portfolio. Hotel used technological integration that achieve high level of services
customatisation. With the help of it, manager and employees provides the effective services to
customer (Epstein, 2018). For exploit these strengths, firm increase the brand identification and
reputation in hospitality business. Hotel used technology such as digital room keys merged into
smartphones of guests that are increased large number of customer. It is technique which is
helped to exploit the strength. Hotel used different schemes such as free internet success, digital
check-in, offer services on discounted prices for increasing the high level customer retention.
With the help of it, Hilton Baku Hotel make efforts to exploit of their strengths.
Weakness:
There are high level of debts and over dependence on US markets. Hotel has little
international market share disregard large portfolio of brands. Due to its large size, lack of
flexibility of hotel that is weakness of business. Therefore, hotel utilise the innovation in product
and services, so that they exploit their business and increasing market share in international
market (Stoyanova and Angelova, 2018). With the innovation, firm make effort to overcome the
weakness of business. If hotel is focused on another market such as Europe, Asia Pacific,

American Non-US, so that they generate high level of revenue and market share of business. If
firm is directed on quality and standards of products and services, so that they try to overcome of
high level of debts.

Vision:
The vision of Hilton hotel is to deliver exceptional experiences to every guest and every
time for filling the earth with light and warmness of hospitality.
Mission:
The mission of Hilton hotel is to create sincere experience for guests, meaningful chances
for team members, high value for owner and positive effect in people that help to be the most
hospitable organization in the worldwide.

Values of Hilton Hotel:
There are many values such as passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience,
integrity, leadership, team work, ownership etc. Hotel serve people and extend passion in their
team members for hospitality beyond hotel walls every day. The development of business in
hotel sector and hospitality industry (De Toni, De Zan and Battistella, 2016).Company drive
positive societal and environmental changes across their operations, supply chain and people are
the most essential value of business.
In this context, entity more focus on value chain to effect issue that are most valuable to
their business. They also direct for exceptional people in plenty places around the world. In order
to that, team player commitment, leadership and innovation, Hilton is the most respected brands
in the worldwide. The long term relationship is increased value of business. Firm want to build
relations with clients and give value to their clients ongoing basis. In relation to leadership, hotel
to make new way of reaching possible investor. Capitalist believes in hotels by foster leadership
that creates more value.
Hilton hotel operates sense of urgency and discipline that are increased values of business
in the worldwide. Company also utilise analytics to continually improve their output, so that they
are efficient in marketing (Quirke, 2017).By creativity, they build relationship which are the

effective leaders, they are giving the clear instruction and training to their employees for
developing worth of hotel. Impressive decisions and actions taken by management and leaders
are building the relationship with clients. With the innovation, behaviour and action of
management are effectively done in the company.
Commitment for competence at all level of personnel
The management of Hilton Baku hotel make sure that measure the competencies at all
level of personnel in the workplace. Level of competence means greater and lesser of skills and
knowledge of personnel. Level includes top, middle and lower personnel in the business. At top
level, management identify competencies which includes abilities, skills and knowledge for
improve the performance of personnel in the workplace (Camisón and Forés, 2015). At lower
level, management measures abilities, skills and competencies by providing the appropriate
training and development to employees. With the help of it, individual improve execution

also defines flows of information from level to level within firm. There are different types of
organizational structure such as matrix, divisional, functional, product based, market based etc.

It is structure that comprises different actions such as coordination, supervision and
allocation of task. This structure determines performance and operations of company. There are

It is very important to manage the people in services business in relation to effective and
efficient to timely to satisfy the customer.
Employees: It is essential to manage employees which includes managers, leaders,
executive and senior manager, other staff etc. Therefore, hotel can focus on effective and
efficient management of people in the workplace. For managing people, firm can also provide
training and development in the workplace (De Toni, De Zan and Battistella, 2016).All the
people are more important in the services business. By this way, they can develop their skills and
knowledge for improve performance to employees in order to give the best hotel services to
guest for their satisfaction and increasing expectation. For manage to employee, firm can also
follow different management style and effective organizational structure in the business.
Suppliers: It is important to manage suppliers who are delivering food and beverages in
services business. In order to that, firm can maintain and build relationship with suppliers in the
business. So that, they are supplied the best services to company. Firm can be followed different
techniques such as manage contract, address agreement issues, manage invoice validation etc. By
these ways, Hilton Baku can manage suppliers of business. Through it, firm also provided high
standards and quality services to customer. In relation to, firm can satisfy to customer and
increase expectation towards product and services(Quirke, 2017).
Therefore, Hilton Baku hotel can be managed employees and suppliers for providing the
high quality and standard product and services such as housekeeping, food and beverage, room
services to guests in hotel. With this, firm can satisfied customer requirements and increase their
expectation towards business.

This report has summarised that follow different ways for exploiting of strengths and
overcoming to weakness of Hilton Baku Hotel. It can be concluded that vision and mission
statement of hotel. It can be discussed that different values such as delivering exceptional guest
experience, integrity, leadership, team work, ownership, team player commitment innovation
that guide action and behaviour to management in the hotel. It can be suggested that functional
organizational structure is the most appropriate structure in operation of hotel business.
Furthermore, report has completed that firm followed different way to manage people involves
employees and suppliers in relation to satisfy customer in the business.
