INTRODUCTION
In the current scenario, where whole world is suffering from the paramedics of COVID
19, it will bring good amount of the impact on the business of all the industry, specially for the
business which are operating in the hospitality industry. This report will uncertain the same issue
but in more specified context that is the issue which is being faced by the HR department. This
report highlights the Aim and objective of the topic, after that proposal highlights the secondary
data and methodology which is used to carry out the research.

Rationale
COVID 19 is one of the trading topic in current and I was also very excited to gather good sort of
the information on the same this has driven me in selecting the same topic in the nation. At the
same time there was good amount of the uncertainty among the Hilton to understand the impact
of COVID 19 on the business. For the same reason this topic was chosen to give the good hand
of support to client in understanding the same in better way.
LITERATURE REVIEW
In the published paper Bagnera, Steinberg and Edition (2020) researcher explain that HR
policy are different policy which are being developed to attract new employee toward
organization and also maintain the same individual for longer period of time at the workplace.
HR policy generally includes the three t four element on the basis of which whole employee
retention plan are made in the organization these elements of HR policy are Recruitment Policy,
selection policy, training policy and workplace environment building policy in the organization.
At the same time Zheng, Goh and Wen (2020) explain that there were many different
changes which has to be brought by the HR department in their policy reason behind the same is
COVID 19 paramedics in the nation. This will eventually create the variety of issue to be
addressed by the HR department. He and Harris (2020) highlights that the first challenge will be
in regards of providing the training to all the employee in regards of keeping social distancing.
Another challenge which was highlighted was to select more mentally and healthier employee in
the organization. Another challenges which will be faced in context of recruitment of the
employee in the organization will be scheduling and maintaining adequate number of employee
in the organization only, in a way that all the employee feels secure at the workplace and will
help the company in maintaining the talent for longer period of time.
Mao and et.al (2020) in the published paper highlights that there were many different
type of impact which also has to be seen by the HR of the organization due to COVID 19
paramedic. Biggest impact which will be brought by the same in the organization will that HR
department has to recruit more multidimensional employee to save the cost of company. As hotel
industry will be seeing good amount of the recession so it is very important to safeguard different

might be seen by the HR is on training policy of the company, as HR has to invest more amount
of the resources toward giving training to the employee in context of maintaining hygiene and
social distancing, these will increase the cost of the company in the long run.

Research Type: Research is significantly define as a investigation into different study of
material to find out the solution of the issue faced by client. Qualitative research type and
Quantitative research type most common type of research which is certainly used by good
number of researcher in the market. For investigating issue face by HR policies with regards to
COVID-19, scholar has preferred Qualitative research type (Ørngreen and Levinsen, 2017).
Research Philosophy: Research Philosophy generally deals with different sources and
development of knowledge in study. It is generally belief about the different activity in a way
they can be carried out. Scholar was having option of going with an one philosophy out of
Positivism and interpretivism. For this study scholar has chosen interpretivism research
philosophy as it used to provide good support to the type of research selected.
Research approach: it is define as a collection of plans and procedure for research which
includes a broad assumption in context of data collection, analysis and interpretation. Inductive
and deductive research approach are approaches which may be used by researcher in the study.
Researcher has gone with deductive research approach as it used to suits the type of research
type chosen.
Data Collection: Research is generally conducted on the basis of variety of the different
type of data which is generally collected in the research, these process is known as Data
collection (Clandinin, Cave and Berendonk, 2017). Data are collected by two ways and scholar
has used both in the research, two ways are Primary data collection and secondary data
collection. Primary data will be collected by survey via questionnaire. At the same time
secondary data will be collected by going through books and journal related to topic.
Data Analysis: Collected data will be analysed with the help of thematic data analysis
tool, Scholar will be presenting data by the way of themes and graphs in organization.

Sampling: Sampling generally means selecting a target group on basis of which primary
data can be collected. Scholar will be using simple random sampling method to select 50 HR
individual of Hilton.
Ethical consideration: Scholar has make sure that good amount of ethics has been
