(Abdelgawad and et. al., 2013). Hilton is a big brand name and it is essential to manage their
level in the market and to be a target for the other hotels.

Their top level managers are working hard to engage their employees properly and this is
big task for them. If a guest face some problems or issue in the rendered service, this is duty of
managers to resolve their problems and give them a perfect solution above it. Top level
management decide that they have to explore their services and they have to give more attention
to their guests. They have to give some specialized training to welcome their guests and they
have to give a personnel attendant to business class guests to manage their services and to take
care them in the hotel and if the guest wants that out of the hotel also.
So to manage this facility they have to make new time table of the employees and their
working hours and their day and night shifts. The main objective behind this is to provide the
best assistance and best service to their clients. Hilton Hotel is targeting on the business class
customer who have to conduct their meeting in the hotel and also stay in the hotel.
To make this changes in the organisation, the top level management have to make some
new strategies and they have to adopt some new leadership style to attain these object. In the
current scenario organisation is using the democratic leadership style and they are using this in
the perfect manner. This leadership style is including the all employees and their managers in to

the decision making process. There are some challenges in to these leadership style as some
employees will meet the targets and finish their work in time but some will delay and that can be
a disaster (Adair, 2010). A democratic leader it may be necessary to learn some traits of
autocratic or bureaucratic leadership to have a backup. Employees may start arguing by
forgetting who the leader is, even if the leader is democratic he does not have to justify his
decision. This style of leadership is slow than autocratic approach as participation takes time. It
can develop a situation where responsibilities are not clear cut to everybody. More participation
can be viewed by the employees as leader not being competent to handle the job responsibilities.
To manage their employees in the perfect manner to give their best performance which
can give the personnel assistance to each and every guest of the hotel. Strategic leadership is
different than two other popular leadership styles, managerial and visionary. Managerial leaders
are primarily immersed in the day-to-day activities of the organization and lack an appropriate
long-term vision for growth and change(Quong. and Walker., 2010.). For reasons we will touch
upon later, this is the most common form of leadership, especially in large, diversified
organizations. Conversely, visionary leaders are primarily future-oriented, proactive and risk-
taking. These leaders base their decisions and actions on their beliefs and values and try to share
their understanding of a desired vision with others in the organization.
Hilton Hotel have to use their employees in the best way and to attain the objectives
Hilton have to use the Visionary leadership style in the current scenario. In the context of the
Hilton Hotel, they have to engage their employees in the perfect manner. The top level
management have to ask their employees to work in the morning and night shift. Hotel have to
use their best employees for the receiving of their business clients and one more thing is that
their employees in the day and night shift. They have to divide them perfectly and their desired
shift. Another thing is that management have to give them a particular work to perform and they
have to give expertise in their work so Hilton Hotel have to give perfect and regular training.
So these are the objectives, challenges and leadership which helps to attain this objective.

and the employees in the decision making process. Democratic leadership style is one of the style
which allow the people have a more participatory role in the decision making process. One
person retains final say over all decisions but allows others to share insight and ideas(Phipps.,
2012.). This is often a highly effective form of leadership. People are more likely to excel in their
positions and develop more skills when they feel empowered, and people are empowered when
they are involved in the decision-making process. It may take some time to achieve full
participation from a group of employees in the Hilton Hotel, the end result will be the best
