Management and operations is an essential element of managerial system within every
organisation that includes various functions related to designing, production, sales and operations
of a firm. It assists a business to design and control each and every activity performed, from
converting raw material to finished goods or production to sales. In this present assignment.
Hilton Hotel been chosen. It is a hotel industry who has its branches in many countries. This
project will cover description of manager and leader and comparison of their roles and
characteristics. In additional to this, different management and leadership theories for covered
for growth and sustainable performance of company. Importance and value of the key
approaches to operations management will also be described briefly.
