A. Identify the list of the three HR practises and critically analyse them,
HR Practises are defines the importance of human resource department (Cohen, 2017).
Hilton hotel is the well re-putative Chain of hotels which is known for as luxurious services.
Moreover, It is very important for Hilton Manager to control on the employees performance and
make sure about the work they are performing (Jansa and et.al., 2014). Besides, for maintaining
the quantitative work HR manager introduce some following practises with employees to
enhance the performance level:
Training and development: T&D is the essential practises of HR manager to providing
the new skills and knowledge to the staff members. Employees of hospitality industry should be
well mannered and having good approachable skills (Leahy, 2016). This helps company to make
new customers. For that company HR manager perform this practise.
Recruitment and selection: another practises of HR manager is that to recruit or to
select the candidates on the behalf of skills and qualification. Good HR manager always hire
productive staff in order to meet the objectives and growth. This is the best practises of HR
manager in terms of maintain the productivity. This may give negative impact on the existing
employees or new employees do not happy with the behaviour of senior employees.
Increase Motivation: On the other side, Human resource manager also liable to perform
the role of leaders in case of employees motivation level goes down (Milner IV, 2015). This
practise helps employees to enhanced the confidence and interest level. Overall it makes the
environment productive and healthy. Low motivation gives employees negative image of the
company.
Performance appraisal: HR manager has duty to analyse the performance level of the
employees in order to give them rewards and appreciation and provide motivation to low
performers. Besides, this method also give negative effects on the performance.
On the basis of above discussion (Cohen, 2017. Hilton manager needs to perform all
necessary HR practises. In order to enhance the quality of management.
D. Reflective
On the basis of overall findings it can be concluded that HR practises are the most
important task in terms of getting employees benefits and performance level. With the help this

report I will get to learn about the HR practises and roles in the organisation. HR plays a
important role to getting good feedback from the employees (Milner IV, 2015). I will learn how
to approach the employees by give them best working environment, training and development
practises to improve the performance level. I got to learn about the cooperation, negotiation,
compromise, leadership. That leadership is the most important element which improves the
motivation level of the employees. I got to learn that, hotel industry is the highly affecting
industry in terms of profit. They require best team to assist clients or visitors. With the help of
this case study I got learn leadership strategies through which I will make my career opportunity
stronger. Moreover, with the help this I got to learn cooperate functions which helps me to my
further assignment (Milner IV, 2015). With the working as a team, every individual contribute
their part in terms of effective outcomes. Furthermore, during the whole time I will get to learn
management skills which helps me to manage my work.
