Analyzing the Impact of Training and Development on Hilton Employees

This report investigates the impact of training and development on employee performance within the context of Hilton Hotel. The research employs a descriptive design with a qualitative approach, collecting primary data through questionnaires from 20 employees and secondary data from books, journals, and online articles. Thematic analysis reveals that Hilton Hotel provides training opportunities, utilizes on-the-job training methods, and that training enhances employee satisfaction, ultimately increasing performance and productivity. The report concludes that training and development are crucial for sharpening skills and shaping employee attitudes, recommending that Hilton Hotel focus on coaching, addressing short-term learning needs, and empowering employees to own their career development to further improve performance.

Theme 1: Organization offers opportunity for training and development to
employees
It has been analyzed from the responses of the employees
of the Hilton hotel that majority of the respondents agrees
with the view that business provides opportunity relating
with training and development to the personnel. It has
been believed by the personnel that company organized
session of training for the personnel so that they can
enhance their skills and knowledge to a significant level.
With this they are able to perform with greater
effectiveness.

Theme 2: On the job training methods are employed by Hilton hotel
It has been analyzed from the responses of the employees
of the Hilton hotel that majority of the respondents agrees
with the view that company make utilization of the on the
job training method. This is because this assist the
employees in gaining knowledge regarding the manner in
which actual work is required to be carried out. Such is
important for the purpose of increasing skills related with
performance of particular job in an effective manner.

Theme 3: Training enhances level of satisfaction among the employees
It has been analyzed from the responses gathered from the
employees of the Hilton hotel that majority of the
respondents agrees with the view that training plays
effective role in enhancing the satisfaction level among
the personnel. With the assistance of training the
personnel are able to perform with greater effectiveness.
Such acts as an aid in attainment of business targets in an
effective manner.

Theme 4: Training and development is imperative in increasing performance
and productivity
When the employees of Hilton hotel were asked regarding
whether training and development possess imperative role
in enhancing performance and productivity it has been
gained that with the assistance of training the skills of
personnel are enhanced that assist in attainment of
business targets with greater effectiveness.

Conclusion
From the above research, it can be concluded that training
and development has an important part of the
organization. It is an educational process which involves
the sharpening of skills, concepts, changing of attitude of
the staff. With the help of different training and
development methods such as on the job, off the job etc,
company has delivered the right training to the staff. On
the other hand, there are several ways by which firm can
bring the improvements in employees’ performance in the
right direction. Rather than this, organization can get the
various benefits from the training and development.

As per the research, it has important to bring the
improvement in the training and development aspect.

employees, improvement in employees performance can
