INTRODUCTION
For every person it is essential to determine their past experience because through that
they can develop effective decision for the future (Beaty, Seli and Schacter, 2019). This will also
help them in understanding which activity is essential and which is in effective. The main aim of
conducting this report is to evaluate four historical incident or past situation of a person. These
events are generally based on the situation taken place at the university and job life.
MAIN BODY
I am currently working as a marketing executive in retail firm. At respective place while
performing my duties I understand that my past experiences and situation helping me today
through that I am growing my career effectively. There are several past condition which I can
related to my growth such as while conducting studies at the University we perform presentation
which help me now because at the company sometime I need to report to seniors and present any
plan (Haar and et. al., 2019). Respective incident shows my past experience helps me know in
develop as well as growing my career in effective manner. Another historical situation is related
with the internship which I conducted during my studies; at that time we need to interact with
customers or clients through this I able to enhance my communication as well as convincing
skills. Now this helps me while I interact with customers as well as me through these skills I also
able to convince them properly to buy our products. Moreover it will also help me resolving
problems or issues of clients in effective manner. In addition to this there are also several other
incidents which show past experiences help a person in developing their career or future in
current time as well as it will also help them in realizing what is right and what is wrong (Jordan,
Ferris and Lamont, B. T., 2019). Along with this, I have effective communication and problem
solving skills I get to know when there is conflict take place among my co staff and customers at
the store. At that time my senior tell me to go and resolve conflict among them because they
belief that I can have skills which help me in understanding situation and handle it effectively.
Similarly one there is surprise visiting of management at the store and at that day our retail
manager is not present then in that situation other members and authority told me to give
presentation to management (Seemann, 2019). This is so because they trust on me as well as they

also know that I have effective as well as strong presentation, confident and communication
skills that help me in handling situation properly.
CONCLUSION
By evaluating above discussed point it can be summarize that for every individual it is
essential for analyze their past experience because through that they can understand activities or
situation which help them in growth. Along with this they get to know activities which are totally
leads to waste of time as well as resources, by analyzing this person can develop more effective
strategies for future growth.
