During the 16th and the 17th century in the continent of North America., explorers
came to the continent for establishing colonies in the newly discovered lands. These included
mostly the Spanish and the European conquistadors who were looking for areas where they
can engage in trade and other relations with the people living in these areas. In addition to
this, the explorers also wanted to use the natives of these place for the slavery (Du Bois,
2018). Thy used the natives to perform the jobs for them without paying them any money.

The Americas as we know it today, was quite different from the times when it was
first established in the year 1491. It was the time when the Christopher Columbus had not yet
discovered the continent yet. However, in the year 1491, more people were living in the
country than they were living in Europe and other continents. This included the Aztec and
their civilization with the cities of Tenochtitlan (Nevin, 2017). The readers also get to know
the city was well decorated with clean streets. Along with these, the city was also well
decorated.

colonies among themselves. These th9irteen colonies had similar political systems while at

The Great Awakening referred to a religious movement which took place in the
country of America. The Great Awakening is said to have altered the course of the religious
movement in the country of America (Nevins, 2017).
The Great Awakening is said to have an important effect on the American society.
Firstly, it changed the people’s perceptions about the religion and other superstitions in the
country. It also made the people feel the importance of the religion in their lives. Thus, it can
be said that The Great Awakening had a significant impact on the life of the Americans in the
society at that time.

The Horse and the Gun Frontiers were an important part of the history of the United
States of America. The Horse and the Gun Frontiers were used by the native Americans as
part of their daily lives (Du Bois, 2018). Thy used these grounds for the hunting of the herds
of the bison across the plains of America and also used it as a method of trade with the
Europeans and the Indo-Americans. The nomadic tribe groups like that of Dakota and
Cheyenne had become more powerful with the introduction of the guns and horses in the
country.

Revolution is the fact that while the Americans called it the battle for the independence in the
country, the Brits would call it a revolt (Adams,2017). The other difference included the

independent of the rule of the British. The third main difference between the American and
the British versions of the American Revolution is the Americans gaining their independence
while the Britishers believing they were driven out of the country (Adams, 2017).
