Introduction
This literacy report is about the Indigenous Australians that how were they treated in the history
of the last century. It has discussed the impact of the history affected on the ethical practices of
the engineering. Moreover, it is discussed how the history impacted in communicating with the
representatives of the engineer. The indigenous Australians are the people from Australia who
are descended from the groups which existed in Australia. The reason for arrival the Indigenous
Australians is the matter of debate among the researchers. The remains of the human were found
in the Australia who was those of Mungo Lady and Mungo Man LM3.

Main Body
Indigenous Australians are the Torres Strait Islander people of Australia who move from the
groups which were existed in Australia and surrounded in the islands of the prior to British
colonization. The history of these people was started 40,000 years ago when Australia was
populated by the Aboriginal Australians. These were the hunter-gatherers of semi-nomadic who
have the strong spiritual connection with the water, land, and animals. The origin of these people
is the matter of conjecture and debate (HealthInfoNet, 2014). They are the earliest human who
migrated and they migrated to Australia, they were not from any of the population of any of the
country. People who lived in Australia at the time of European contract the people were
estimated between 315,000 to 750,000 which upper estimate as high as 1.25 million. At the time
of the 1900s, the population of the Indigenous people in Australia was leading towards
extinction. The indigenous people who lived in the coastal area were depleted and forced from
their lands. The greater population of the indigenous people was frond in the eastern and
southern regions of the continent. These Aboriginal Australians maintained their communities
successfully throughout Australia.
The indigenous people were not treated well in Australia. The indigenous people in their
homelands don't get the food to eat from the aged care program which was administered by the
regional council and was funded by the government of Australia. The whole of the community of
indigenous people including the elder and the children don't get food on daily basis. So the
people of the community cook the food themselves and distribute among them (Roulis, et. al.,
2015). In the homes of Aboriginal, there is asbestos and even when someone inserts the fiber of
asbestos in the lungs of aboriginal people and develops the mesothelioma than the government
doesn't care about those people. When their kids get infected from the chronic and are not able to
add themselves in the statistics of the indigenous people as they die from the renal disease; these
people are died because of the heart disease and nothing is done by the government. The people
of this community are duped all the time. The white people of Australia organized the structure
and the organisation which acts to help the indigenous people; but it is just acting and nothing
more (Wickens, et. al., 2015). The indigenous people are doing suicides, the white people are
killing the values and even break down the traditional life of these people. The army was sent by

the prime minister of Australia into the community of the indigenous in the territory of Northern
to rescue the children who were claimed that the minister for Aboriginal Affairs was abused by
the gang of a pedophile.
In my opinion, the ethics of engineering is the system of moral principles and the field of applied
ethics which apply to the practice of engineering. According to my thought, these are the fields
which are examined and set the obligation by their client, engineers of the society. The engineers
play the most important role in developing the cell phones; I have seen the human rights theories
and concepts are contextualizing in the practice of the engineering. The indigenous people
affected the ethics of engineering as most of the indigenous people are attracting towards the
engineering profession (O’Connor, et. al., 2015). These people were not treated well in the
Australian society so the community was created for such type of people which was “Australian
Indigenous Psychologists Association which was the community for the social justice. The social
justice is about addressing the disadvantage and the lack of power which was experienced by the
indigenous people of Australia (Rice, et. al., 2016). The psychologists of Indigenous believe that
the Aboriginal mental health must be viewed in the holistic context which encompasses the
emotional and social well-being as well as the spiritual health and the culture. I have seen out it
is necessary to acknowledge the colonization's history and its consequences which are a social
environment which includes housing, health, employment, affirmation and the experiences of the
racism. I have analyzed that the diversity of the indigenous and their culture are found in the
regional, rural and most of the remote area of Australia. I have found that the psychologist of the
Indigenous people treats both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous students, peers, clients with the
equality and respect. Moreover, it has found that AIPA support all the practices based on the
ethnic, religious, cultural differences are legal, racist, invalid and socially unjust. And it has
found that the association is wise in discussing the cultural issues, and not shares the specific
information about the cultural practices. The psychologist of indigenous committed to work
towards the empowerment of the people of the indigenous and the groups.
The association goes to different places where the Indigenous people live and makes them feel
that they are also the part of the world and are also like the same as we all are. The people of the
association encourage them towards their life, provide them the education, make their place
liking of living, provide them the best quality of food and encourage them to live their life

beautifully. Most of the Indigenous people attract towards the engineering and are choosing their
profession as engineering so that they can also feel same as all the other people in the world.
The member of the AIPA group ensures the people that they will support them whether it will be
in the form of mentoring or sharing the resources. They also give them the honesty they will treat
them fairly as the same as they treat their members, they provide them the safe environment
provide the honest discussion among members and facilitated openly and they also allow the
freedom to concerns. The member of the association tells that they are generous in the
knowledge and also contributes the informal and the formal support of the professional and also
mentoring up the members.

Conclusion
This is to conclude that this report is about the Indigenous people of Australia, the history about
them. What are the impact of the indigenous people on the engineering, how they were treated in
Australia and how they are getting in touch with the engineering? Moreover, it is discussed the
people who helped this community to rise and how they make themselves so powerful that they
get the same respect and the place in the society. Moreover, it is given about the how one
communicates with the people of this group so that they can help in improving their society and
the life.
