Read the short story, "Car Crash While Hitchhiking" by Denis Johnson. Do you trust the
narrator? Do you believe what he is telling you? Why or why not? Please use three quotes
form the story to support your answer.
Yes I trust the narrator and whatever is telling is relate with vivid imaginary but the narrator has
a unique view so I trust him. In the story Denis Johnson, he is the narrator in which he has
described the emotions surrounding the aftermath and crash view of the landscape. The story has
used figurative language but still, it makes me believe in redemption is not nearly enough but it
is glorious (Fisher, 2014). In the end, the clarity of the story is evaluated that sanity and sobriety
are precious the way they are and for the tragic senselessness, it should not be compensated for
life.
There is the quote used in the story Fuckhead isn’t Jesus in which the narrator has described that
when you sucked into the better old you realized you have been fuckhaed’s world. In the end,
things are no longer in control and operative as they twisted the addict’s mind of the people. In
the opening paragraph of the story, he has used the quote like Mirroring the chronological
liberties in which he has leap forward the story that after the car accident he has gone to the
general hospital and has taken the same tack and even nurse has given him the injection which
was the lush hallucinations which appear in his eyes (Hamm, et al., 2014). In the story, the
description of the personal life which is a pity on the earth is stated and its descent into the drug-
fueled insanity so I start believing in the functional story.
