The name of the agency that I talk over is the “Center for a healthy Maryland-The
Maryland State Medical Society Foundation” (healthymaryland, 2020).
Reason for selecting the agency
I choose this foundation because this is one of the oldest agencies present in
Maryland, United States, and they work for several counseling and campaign program
regarding HIV and AIDS.

History and Mission of the Maryland State Medical Society Foundation
The Maryland State Medical Society Foundation is one of the oldest society in
Maryland that preserve the rich history of medicine in Maryland. This foundation is working
with MedChi, which is also the ancient society in Maryland, founded in 1799. This
foundation usually works for the specific type of population who are present below the
poverty line. They serve them by providing medicines for HIV/ AIDS as well as with some
health checkups (medchi, 2020).
The primary mission of this foundation includes the advance practice of different
types of medicines and vaccines that are primarily used for HIV/AIDS as well as increase the
