Bodily functions which are affected by the femur fracture in the patient body are,
Support : Bone tissues in comparison to other tissues are very hard as it provides
the human body the hardness. Femur bone is the part of the skeletal system which
provides the body shape which will get deteriorated if there is a fracture in the
bone. The patient will require equipment which will allow them to keep the
structure intact after the fracture otherwise there are chances of misplacement in
fractures.
Posture : Due to the fracture in the femur the posture of the human body gets
effected which is a function of the skeletal system. Structure generated from the
skeletal system is the result of the gesture that the humans maintain. The femur
fracture can cause the fractured leg to look shorted than the other legs of the patient.
This issue can also be solved by assisting the patient with equipment of fracture
care.
Movement: The bodily function of proper movement, which is most specific
function in skeletal system among body is impacted a Mr John has been suffering
from fracture in femur. Due to fracture, effective walking practice will not be there.
For preventing this a disability worker need to provide proper assistance, where
walker will help to establish efficiency in walking.
