HNC Health & Social Care: Researching Disability & Social Activity

This research project investigates the impact of disability and long-term conditions on the social participation of individuals. It includes transcripts reflecting the experiences of respondents who provided information on the topic, highlighting themes such as hospital visits, active participation in social activities, experiences of discrimination, societal perceptions, the need for supervision, and the effect on mental health. The conclusion emphasizes that communication barriers and discrimination are major challenges faced by disabled individuals. The study suggests that self-motivation and independent performance of duties can boost energy and enable active participation in society. References to relevant research articles are also included.

Conclusion
• From the above discussion it can be concluded that communication and discrimination are
major issues faced by disable patients.
• They have to motivate own self and they have to perform their duties without any support. This
can boost their energy and they will be able to participant in society actively.
