This research proposal aims to identify the benefits of digital workplace transformation in increasing the productivity and performance of ASDA, a UK retail sector company. The proposal outlines the research aim, objectives, and questions, focusing on understanding the conceptual framework of digital workplace transformation, identifying the requirements of digital transformation within ASDA's workplace, and examining the challenges ASDA could face due to the absence of digital transformation. The literature review highlights perspectives on digital workplace transformation, competition, and potential challenges. The research methodology employs a positivism philosophy, deductive approach, survey strategy, and quantitative research, utilizing primary data collection through questionnaires with a probability sample of 30 ASDA managers. The anticipated outcome emphasizes the importance of investing in digital transformation to improve productivity and performance. A Gantt chart is included for project timeline management.
