INTRODUCTION
In this modern era, there are several types of diseases and health
issues are arising. It can also affect individual's life style in an
adverse manner. Health promotion is a process which provide
information to people about how to improve their health.
The presentation will be described relationship between government
strategies and models of health promotions.
Health care professionals also plays a crucial role in order to meet
government targets.

Links between government strategies and models of
health promotion
Tannahill’s model of health promotion can be adopted by NHS; it
was founded in 1995. The model states that there are three
loops of health promotion that entails, health education, health
protection and health prevention. It is aimed to recognise the
changing behaviour of by increasing their leisure time into
physical activities, i.e. fitness and exercise.

Apart from this, UK government also contributes in creating health
promotion strategies. It is aimed to control the use of tobacco among
public controller and at the same time it reduces selling of tobacco
and smoking products. Therefore, these government strategies
