I hold extensive likelihood for the field of health and social care. There are several
reasons behind the same. One of the most primary reasons is that I want to improve the plight of
the country by working upon the health and well being of the individuals pertinent to the nation.
Another big reason behind studying this subject matter is that I believe it provides individuals
with the opportunity to apply their analytical, spontaneity and critical thinking ability in order to
provide instant solution to service users in future course of time when I will pursue the subject as
a profession. Gaining in depth and comprehensive knowledge of the concepts, theories and
models pertinent to the health and social care sector will ensure that I achieve great heights in
future time period. Further, the practical experience that I will gain from the college campus will
allow me to apply the same while working in health and social care settings after the completion
of graduation degree course. By studying about health and social care, I will get the chance to
leverage the knowledge for facilitating development of personal as well as professional skills. As
a result of this, I will be easily able to convert my interest and passion towards this sector into the
field for opting profession.
I am of the firm belief that pursuing graduation in health and social care from HND
College London will equip with me a chance to enhance my existing knowledge base of this
sector. As the college is well equipped with learning materials and educational instructors, I will
be able to comprehensively understand all the concepts that are essential to be borne in my mind
for the long run. Also, it will provide me with an exposure to theoretical and practical knowledge
of the subject matter. I can apply the same to my field of career after the completion of my
graduation. When I will be done with my degree, I can start my own practice in health and social
care sector whereby my prime aim will be to cater to the needs and demands of service users.
